Kyle Korver nails another three today, making it his 80th consecutive game where he has made a three pointer. He is only nine games away from the record holder, Dana Barros. Barros made at least one 3-pointer in 89 straight games. The stretch lasted from Nov. 23, 1994 to Jan. 10, 1996. He played in the league for 14 years and averaged 46 percent on 3s.

Will he break the record?

One of the best teammates ever.

Also Teague been killing it with the assists, leader in the EC and 2nd only to CP3.

Boy, how much would Korver help Chicago right now to space the floor for Rose's drives?

It's all good though, Mike Dunleavy is sure working out for them as far as token white scorers go.

80 consecutive games is just NUTS to me. I wouldn't have guessed the record was that long (89). Crazy.

Korver keeps his streak alive by hitting three tonight, and two the game before. He is currently shooting 52% this year from 3-point land.

Curry? Klay?

What about them? They're no where near Korver right now, in regard to the streak.

Korver has increased his chances of breaking the all-time record!

All hail King Korver

good player. not sure i like him as much as redick overall but he's been filling in nicely everywhere this season. curry or klay? both of them are better overall players, sorry. korver isn't a specialist but he's just not as impactful...he is consistent though.

They drew defenses like basketball cartoonists.
Ray & Reggie very seldomly found themselves open like Korver does. They had games where they went 0 for 5+ from beyond the arc because of the double teams and increased defense whenever they held the ball.

Anyway, I'm sure Korver will get it. Congrats to him once he does.

Tonight Kyle Korver ties the all-time most consecutive games with at least one 3-pointer made.

Lord Korver was 6 for 9 from the arc, scoring a total of 23 points in a win against the Los Angeles Clippers.

Lord Korver (LK) is shooting an astounding 50% from the arc this season. How great is our Lord and savior, LK?

Always wish him the best as a former Utah Jazzman, and it's good to see him do well.

Arbitrary but impressive. Definitely one of the best pure shooters in the league. Every time he's wide open I believe it's going in when he lets it go. Wish the Bulls kept him.. his hustle/rebouding/passing is pretty underrated.

Agree but he always disappears in the playoffs. We don't need a second Boozer.

How is it arbitrary?

Congrats to our God King Kyle King God Korver

Who, if anyone, will break this record? It previously stood for 15 years, and Kyle ain't done adding to it yet!

Side question: Where does this rank among 3-point record accomplishments?

I don't think you know what arbitrary means. If the record was something like it's the 17th consecutive Saturday in December he's hit a three then it would be arbitrary.

Klay thompson probably?
