If Klay Thompson was an outright better shooter, he'd at least shoot his FT's at a higher clip. He doesn't.

Most of Curry's "hot" games are on high attempts anyway, with a lot of makes in a row. Hes quite consistent throughout most his games.

I sort of wanted to hate or underrate him because of the Kyrie comparisons (homer factor), but there is no denying his talent, and he seems to have cemented himself as a top 5 PG.

Watch the games and you'll understand just how much Curry contributes. The spacing he provides because of how afraid teams are of his shot makes life so much easier for the rest of his team. The biggest difference between the way they are both doubled is that Steph is doubled 3 or 4 behind the three point line because he can, and will, hit shots from there like 10 footers.

He single handily can give a team elite spacing.
