Pretty nice if you don't factor efficiency and defense, and consistency year to year in playoffs.

Whats more impressive is that he knows and everyone else does that when he shoots less the team is more likely to win. But you can see his dedication in disregarding whats best for his team and just focusing on trying to copy michael jordan with really high ppg averages.

Funny thing is, his efficiency was around 56-58 TS% for most of those years along with the fact that he played better defense in the playoffs. For reference, that's around where Lebron was at for the past 3 finals runs.

Since your other gimmick account was KG5MVP, KG's efficiency was only 51 TS% in his peak season.

3 pters and FT don't count. Nor does playing against efficient defenses. Try to keep up stan.

Playoffs TS%
2001: 55.5%

2003: 53.1%

2008: 57.7%

2009: 56.4%

2010: 56.7%

Get your facts right.

And right just cherry pick KG's lowest TS% season. Kobe also had a few seasons with 50% TS

He did get his facts right.

He said Kobe shot 56-58% TS% for most of those seasons.

5 seasons listed.

2001: 55.5% Under 56%

2003: 53.1% Under 56%

2008: 57.7% Between 56-58%

2009: 56.4%Between 56-58%

2010: 56.7% Between 56-58%

3 out of 5. So yes, Kobe did shoot between 56-58% most of those seasons.

I don't see where he got his facts twisted.

If you round his 55.5% to 56 and his 57.7% to 58, that makes 4/5 between 56-58%.

To compare (playoff TS%):

Hakeem
86: 56.6%
94: 56.8%
95: 56.0%

Shaq
95: 59.5%
00: 55.6%
01: 56.4%
02: 56.9%

Kareem
71: 54.8%
74: 58.3%
80: 61.1%

Been a while since I've been on here. See nothing much has changed.

Kobe is too polarizing for a reasonable discussion, same with LeBron.

Sure his efficiency could be better as with his shot selection but all great players have their flaws. As a basketball fan you have to admire what he has accomplished in his career Shaq or no Shaq.

LeBron or Dwight. Who do you hate more? Who is the better basketball player?
Who would you rather have on your team?

lebron is more talented than dwight, but the guy flipping burgers at mcdonalds is more talented than dwight too so thats not much of a compliment, both are grade "A" front runners and douches, i guess it depends on the season...this season dwight takes the cake
