This clueless bastard is just ruining Houston basketball.
From his failed TT experiment (that everyone but him knew wouldn't work) to his constant fumbling around with the roster, it's obvious he has no clue on how to get the most out of his players.
He lets Harden play ISO ball and just no control over this team.
He doesn't even know how to rotate his players correctly. Only TWO subs had more than 4 minutes tonight (only 4 subs played total) and the Rockets look exhausted down the stretch. He either sits Lin when he's hot or he runs him into the ground (49 min tonight...AB had FOUR minutes).
Doesn't know how to draw up end of game plays...WTF was that tonight? Lin has the hot hand and he stuffs him in the corner so Garcia can shoot a three with 16 seconds left on the clock?
The Rockets are a talented squad but with no true leader...

Inability to close lotto teams?
No offensive sets?
Fail substitution patterns?
Hatred of Jeremy Lin?
McFail has to go.

I was calling for his head last season as well...wanted to dig up the thread I started back then but for some reason I can't search my own threads/posts on ISH.

If Miami can survive 9-8 and not fire Spoelstra... Look, get back to me if and when the Rockets plunge below .500.
if this is still happening in january where the rockets are losing games down the stretch, then i'll call out mchale. otherwise this is the team still learning how to play with each other in certain game situations. loss was unacceptable like the lakers loss but i'll consider those growing pains

But did you watch Houston last year?
McHale was just as bad. He's not getting worse...he's BEEN worse.
I understand he's getting new stars in Harden and DH and that takes time to adjust...but there's no excuse for his TT experiment and how he continues to fail at the end of games. I mean he fails at basic, rudimentary stuff like player rotations and drawing up simple plays to get the hot hand an open shot.

Only on ISH can a 5-4 coach be called out and got to go before an 0-8 coach.
WHERE ARE THE CORBIN HAS TO GO THREADS
mchale isnt a bad coach :confusedshrug:

If you go to the main NBA page and hit the thread starter button it'll sort them by alphabetical order then you can go find yourself and then your thread

They want to tank though. Reason enough to keep him on.

Mcfail has been out coached so blatantly in the Lakers, Clippers and now tonight vs the 76ers
his lack of coaching intelligence showed tonight when he went to Dwight's shitty post game for the 5th consecutive time, resulting in Dwight getting double teamed and stripped, not to mention all the other shitty things he did tonight, great player, horrible ****ing coach

McHale's inability to inspire his "star" James Harden to care enough to give full effort is truly an indictment on his coaching skills.

Not that comparable... Miami has well established talent, whereas Harden and the Rockets players are younger and need someone who can hold them accountable. Besides, at least Spoelstra knows his game tape....McHale can't even hold a marker to the whiteboard and draw some decent late game plays.

Someone's got to command the tank. :confusedshrug:

That is fully on Harden. Beverley isn't out there looking for McHale to motivate him to play harder.

Apparently you like to comment on things you have no clue about.
Like basketball, for instance.
Asik didnt get much burn today too. I still believe in the TT lineup if they are shutting off the paint and forcing opponents to shoot outside of it only. The rest of the guys will have to adjust.

Further proof that McHale is clueless.
It's one thing to take Asik out of the starting lineup, but he only played FOUR minutes.
FOUR.
:wtf:
mchale isnt a bad coach :confusedshrug:No he's not... He's a solid coach maybe not the best ever but whatever.. The team needs time to gel and that includes the coach

Jason Kidd and the Nets, OTOH- that guy should be under more scrutiny than McHale.

Interesting counterpoint. I'll think about adjusting my opinion on how bad of a coach McHale is based on your feedback.

Check his stats:
11 wins vs. 5 losses
# 1 in the nba in offense.
Mchale will not be fired.

McHale thinks Kidd has got to GO!
I mean, compared to the Nets, the Rockets are losing games that are decided by a shot or two.
The Nets are getting killed again.
