Because, unlike some people, everyone only cares about rings.

Reggie Miller, T-Mac, Patrick Ewing, etc. will fade away into history because they didn't win any rings.

It is an unfortunate thing about sports. Look a Joe Louis for example, before he passed away, he was living in apartment upstairs in his run down gym in Philly, because he was never remembered as a champion.

I was operating under assumption that we were saying which players we wished had earned a ring.

Jo Jo English, 1994 Chicago Bulls backing up MJ @ the SG spot.

Jo Jo English, the man who started the brawl with the thug Knicks gets his first ring.

MJ gets his 4th. Bulls first team to four peat since Russell Celtics. We lose Grant in 95, lose again to the Magic.

Get re-motivated, win 2nd three peat. 7 rangz in 8 seasons. No championships left on the table.

John Stockton

Easily my favorite PG of all time, and a tough resillient competitor.

If he'd played in a weaker era he probably would have a ring, but he wen't up against Jordan ...

I feel it's the saddest for those superstar one-franchise guys who placed their faith in organizations and (sort of) got burned in that throughout their illustrious careers they never got the help needed to win it all.

Mailman, Stockton, Miller & Ewing are the first that come to mind...

Come to think of it you can blame MJ for them being ringless lol.

Of the ones you mentioned, only CB. Tmac is a quitter. AI just a ball carrying chucker. Miller just an oversized Ferengi looking douchebag.

a) Cos it would have gone some way to redeeming the "Timeout" with the Fab 5 and
b) Cos the 2002 Kings were one hell of a team and really enjoyable to watch.

So you wanted Nash to get a ring. But because he tried to get that ring, you don't want him to? Wtf kind of logic is that? :oldlol:

Anywho, if I had to choose one, It'd probably be Reggie. I first started watching ball around 00/01. His latre years, and I remember they would always flash back to his greatest moments, I was in awe of the guy and completely rooting for the Pacers against the Lakers in the Finals. We all know how that turned out though. Shame such a great player with so many great moments never got the ultimate prize.

Karl Malone-if he won just one ring,he'd be considered a top 10 player of all-time
He has all the individual accomplishments, just 0 rings

36,000 pts 2nd all time, 10,000+ rebounds, 1,000 steals, 1,000+ blocks
great 20 year career

John Stockton-same with him

15,000+ assists num 1 all-time, 3,000+ steals num 1all-time, great 20 year career great all around stats fg%,ft%,stls pg,ast pg, 3pt%,

Reggie Miller-one of goat sg

num 2 in 3ptrs made,had great legendary playoff series,good 18 year career
one of goat shooters

Penny Hardaway- was the Magic,LeBron,Oscar of his time

Others: Patrick Ewing,Charles Barkley,T-Mac,Vince Carter

We saw what just one ring did to Dirks and KGs reputation and status all-time

Dirk went from a soft,sg type pf who couldn't rebound or defend and was a choker to Clutch God,Best shooting Big-Man,Top 5 PF,one of goat players today

Imagine the reps and statuses of Stockton,Malone,Barkley,Penny,T-Mac,Carter,R Miller if they had just one ring rather than 0

Who ever thought that in the first place is a retard

Its pretty funny that T-Mac will probably go down as the one superstar/hall of famer that never got out of the first round, although technically he did just not as a superstar and no will remember it, and the reality is he's probably the superstar/hall of famer that was closest to a title but never won it. Whatever the case, unfortunate in both cases.

Patrick Ewing of course but I would have liked to see Penny Hardaway win one.
