Need your help on this one, ISH.

I need to come up with 70-80 minutes of rap music to put on a CD and give to a lady who is both:

A, a lady, who is not so much judgmental as simply turned off / depressed / bored by coarse language and dirty or violent stuff, and,

B, neither a moron nor a child, so it can't be self-consciously "clean" or "Christian" rap, or any kind of Kidz Bop adaptation. Real songs that are good.

I'm also ruling out parodies, such as Weird Al and the like.

To qualify, a song must have:

- No swear words whatsoever. N word is probably okay as long as it's used lightheartedly
- No demeaning names or objectification of women. So, Ludacris' "Ho," though very funny and with no swear words, wouldn't work.
- Not excessively violent. Brief suggestion or threat of violence is okay, but it can't be a whole verse about beating someone up or whatever.
- Sex and drugs at a minimum...

So far I've come up with,

Black Sheep, "The Choice is Yours"
Ice Ice Baby
NWA, "Express Yourself"
Fresh Prince, "Summertime"
Atmosphere, "Sunshine"

I am really tempted to find something that's really bad but through suggestion and innuendo and make it the last track. Luda's "Ho" is probably too far ("blew what you blew, and screw what you screw," etc), but something like that.

Or say **** it and have 20 clean tracks and end it with Kurupt's verse on Xplosive.

True but too easy. I'm limiting myself to one Will Smith song and that only because it's a classic.

listen to necro - get on your knees, thats the perfect raunchy over the top capper. plus the beat is great

here are a few options

jay electronica - eternal sunshine series
blu - never be the same (better yet "spring winter summer fall")
jurassic 5 - concrete schoolyard
sage francis - the best of times
something by slick rick
something by de la soul (oodles or ring ring ring maybe)

you should include this, it only barely qualifies as rap but its a great song (http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=-jVE5uEmk0Y)

Feather is really good as well.

And Cise Star/Cyne has plenty of good shit with minimal swearing: Adrift, Samurai's Optic, Catharsis, Electric Blue, Awakening, Pretty Apollo etc.

Common - Retrospect for life

Ice cube - A bird in the hand. One non ABC allowed curse word I believe.

Atmosphere - woman with the tattooed hands

Brother Ali - Picket Fence. Has the word "Shit" but I suspect a non rap listener wouldnt mind.

Thanks for all the response. I'll listen to all your suggestions tomorrow.

also can someone help me make a rock mix with NO guitars or singing please
Every genre has its oddities. Cake doesn't really sing. And there is purely instrumental rock. I've heard rock music made with non-rock instruments and non-rock music made with rock instruments (Trans-Siberian Orchestra). My high school had a rock band that didn't have a guitar in it, though a bass guitarist would jam with them sometimes. (It centered around electric violin. They were good.)

Is she worth the hassle?
As every good woman is.

As for the mix itself, it's just a little idea I had. Wanted to see what I could put together. I'll give it to her for Christmas and then say, ha ha, just kidding, here's your more expensive "real" gift.
