I still predict Dwight Howard being one of the top 3 most valuable this season.

Quite impressive of Love.

Different position but I still give the nudge to Durant as the man can finish at the end of games. Not to say Love cannot be the goto guy during crunch time, I just prefer Durant.

I wonder when will K Love start getting some prop that he clearly deserves from fans, myself included. He's been putting on monstrous numbers that had it been the numbers of some black dude he would've been crowned the best PF by far.

How is his H2H matchup against the elite PF's? Anyone care to post?

Love has been the best in the league for the first 9 games..

Lets see how/if he's able to maintain this production.

Honestly at this point if you're not giving K Love some love for his play you're straight hating.

Played better this year so far.

That'll probably change.

lol nah, Anthony Davis (I'm a defense-first guy).

In all seriousness, I love Love's game. Very fun to watch (today's Jerry Lucas?), and I like the entire Minny team (generally I'll pull for them when I watch).

I see him getting SO much praise actually, but not to the point to say that he's the 2nd best player in the league after 9 games.

He has an outside game like Lucas but who Kevin Love really reminds me of is this guy http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=M1xlhGg-lCo

Obviously doesn't have the vertical, nor the sheer foot speed, and in today's NBA he doesn't have the physical game #2 used. But their uncanny understanding of angles, skill at boxing out away from the bounce, astronomical rebounding skills and outlet games are real real similar. D of course is not to be compared.

Or (again not talking D) this guy when he was younger:

I'm not ready to don him as the 2nd best player. But he's at the least been the 2nd best player over the first 9 games.

People might laugh at it before the season but now i think it's an argument.

I still think KD is better but it's an argument now.

See, the thing is, Love has always had these kinds of abilities but his team was the laughingstock of the league, partly due to the FO but also like last season, because the Wolves were literally playing at times with 10 guys injured.

Now he has a team around him he's suddenly getting lots of ISH burn.

even tho the empty staters were always exposed, it's now blatant as Joey Crawford

Durant and Love are playing the best basketball right now. CP3 third.
