major fumble by Melo imho. Intentionally fouls Dwight after the 2 minute mark to give HOU a free point and possession in a close game in the ending moments of the 4th quarter.

just another stain in the joke that is the New York Knicks

Dam why are you so obsessed with the knicks:lol everyone already called melo out on this in the game thread, but your hate for the knicks is so strong you needed to go ahead and create another thread hoping other knick haters would join you.:facepalm

Yeah that was pretty embarrassing. Don't understand how a professional bball player couldn't know that, most casual fans even are aware of it.

You blame the coach every single year ... when is it going to be the player's fault? When they sign Phil Jackson?

Yea ok. Melo owned up to making a mistake, but also said he wasn't reminded by the coach. On top of that Woodson asked for a review of the 3 point shot by Melo, however the play was not reviewable.

That's 2 mental errors by the coach in the final minutes of the game. That's what he gets paid to do.

I'll take the 40 some points and the mistake. They had a few minutes after that happened, it wasn't with 10 seconds left in the game.

Melo made a mistake, but it didn't really cost them the game. If you are going to jump on him for 1 play, no matter the timing, then don't ignore the fact that without his contributions they wouldn't have even been within striking distance.

Knicks were robbed, that three in the end was legit and should have been a 4 point play.

You need to be reminded by the coach to NOT foul someone?

Next you're going to tell me Carmelo needs to be reminded to dribble the ball if he wants to move around the floor with it.

:facepalm

Really though. Even the dumbest player in the NBA has to know you can't foul off ball with under two minutes in the game.

He probably just wasn't watching the clock closely, saw Dwight, and went for it. It's his fault for not knowing the situation. In no way can this even remotely be pinned on the coach.

Not everyone reads through every game thread buddy, I think a star player costing his team the game cuz he didnt know the rules is thread worthy
