The officials have always stopped the clock when the ball clears the netting, not when it is halfway in the rim.

Even if he'd posted a pic where the ball actually cleared the hoop and was just under the netting, you'd have to be a semen guzzling imbecile to honestly think that a game clock is ever going to be stopped at the precise moment the ball fully clears the hoop. They never do that. Human reaction time isn't that precise and they aren't going to do a frame-by-frame analysis to guarantee the exact amount of clock. There's always going to be a slight delay. The ball fully clears the hoop almost exactly at 0.3s and with delay you're looking at 0.2s on the clock at most. NBA rules basically deem it impossible to get a shot off even on a volleyball tip when less than 0.3 seconds.
