All the people who showed interest in previous threads no longer seem interested or just don't know that there are spots available..

Bro, 2 of the forums most active and influential posters (me, Jameer) was stiffed by ur strict rules because our picks was "late" (picks were actually made 2 hours before game time), so ofcource ppl see the strict ****ery and not wanna continue on.

It's not like this is a competition for money, or any kind of prize, yet you act super strict over a game that's suppose to be fun. You can't stiff 2 of the most active posters and act like your thread will continue to keep major interest.

We me n Jameer, even ppl who dislike us wanted in so they can "beat that anime porn kid" and "beat that asshole Kobe Stan", lol, you can be strict towards scrub irrelevant posters, but not LeBron and Kobe type posters. You failed son, you crushed ur own thread n u ain't even know it.

@scholar I would say let the picks count, as long as they are in before tip off of first game. If it is after the first tip off subtract a point.

Seems fair unless something happens that would give them an advantage like an injury happens. For example: if Bledsoe or someone on the suns got hurt after the deadline for picks and before Celts garlic turned his picks in then that game shouldn't count.

The only thing you screw up on is you give too little time for people to make picks. You should post next week's game on Wednesday/Thursday. Give ppl 3-4 full days to make their picks.

Posting a new thread usually on a Sunday and then expecting people to get their picks in by a Tuesday night might be too little time for some.

Y'know, let me be Rockstar and just beta test this bitch. It is the first time ISH has done a game like this, so I may as well test what works & what doesn't work.

I won't do it this week, but I'll implement next week. It'll be something like guessing the correct points disparity is 2 points while being within a ballpark range will be one point.
Example: You predict "Pacers by 6 vs Knicks." Pacers win by 7. You are only one point shy of the true score, so you'll get one point. If you actually guess '7,' you'll get two points. Obviously, you'll still be awarded another point for also predicting the correct winner.

Anyway, like I said, I'll do it next week. This week is already set and nearly over anyway.

Bro, 2 of the forums most active and influential posters (me, Jameer) was stiffed by ur strict rules because our picks was "late" (picks were actually made 2 hours before game time), so ofcource ppl see the strict ****ery and not wanna continue on.

It's not like this is a competition for money, or any kind of prize, yet you act super strict over a game that's suppose to be fun. You can't stiff 2 of the most active posters and act like your thread will continue to keep major interest.

We me n Jameer, even ppl who dislike us wanted in so they can "beat that anime porn kid" and "beat that asshole Kobe Stan", lol, you can be strict towards scrub irrelevant posters, but not LeBron and Kobe type posters. You failed son, you crushed ur own thread n u ain't even know it.

I've been saying that. I suggested All_Net could simply sticky the Rules thread & I'd update that every week with standings, but he said it's be fine for him to just sticky a weekly thread. I guess 4 weeks in, all the mods realized this is hard work having to unsticky old threads and sticky new ones.
