A few years back, I made up a few 3 team scenarios that would send Kevin Martin from the Rockets to Minnesota. It didn't actually work out the way I thought, but Martin did eventually end up in Minny and turned out to be the terrific pickup I had envisioned for them.

In that same trade, Gasol was going to Houston which also happened but was vetoed by Stern.

Provide an example of a trade you discussed or proposed with someone else that would later on happen or something of the same nature occurred.

That trade was actually reported to be in the works at the trade deadline the season before, but NOLA and Washington couldn't finish it before the deadline. It was more or less rehyping a trade rumor that made sense for both teams and it happened to occur. There is a giant asterisk next to this one in my book.
