3rd season in a row with knee problems.I know it's early but he's had rest already and he starting training almost 2 months ago with grover . It's not that the talent isn't there ,the health isn't .its just who he is now like amare, nash.he can't hold up consistently.a lot of guys were saying this after he got injured before the playoffs, now I think it's prob true.He was getting 21/5/5 1blk 2.5stls on 50% in his last 8gms before the bobcats 4pt night.basically avg what he did last season so he kind of tricks you into thinking he's back .hes still is gonna have a vintage game every week or 2 making you think he can be a superstar full time again, but it's clear he can't be.i don't think I've ever seen a guy with so many deep peaks and valleys.i wonder if we'll continue to guess if he'll ever return to form if he does this for the rest of his career.

He'll have a great game and people will assume he's back and he's finally healthy. Truth be told, he's obviously been on a decline, Wade from a few years ago was averaging +27 points wasn't he? I remember it was always him and Kobe going for the top spots. Wade is reduced to a lesser role but its obvious his knees are the problem.

but what happened to lebron coasting and his crew led by wade winning the games for him?

The ossatron treatment he had takes time to fully recover from. Rashard Lewis had it last year and he said he didnt feel right until around January. And this was with him not even playing much in that time span.

To be fair he was going up against the almighty cats tho, look at bosh, he can't ever stay on the court:confusedshrug:
And yet...He'll have yet another handful of dominant games in a key/critical playoff games, thus propelling the Heat to a fourth title in it's franchise history.
Here's the thing that Heat haters don't realize, Miami doesn't need Wade to be dominant or the "Old Wade" every night. As long as he can maintain spurts of dominance in key and critical situations, the Heat will be on top. And that's why you play on a great team. :applause:

http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=xb-2dQtFHZ8 <--- This game was the last time where he looked like his normal self, he was never the same after this game. He was playing like 2011 Wade prior to this. Now he's not even playing like an all-star. SMH.

You're going overboard. Dude just had an 18 point, 8 assist, 8 steals game the other night. And was 20-5-5 on 50% shooting, before his numbers took a dip from sitting much of the second half last night.

Where's the consistency? He hasn't even been playing better than a guy like JJ Redick so far.
Wade always proves us wrong so he'll probably pick it up later on, but he's not even close to the player he was 1-2 years ago. Not even close.

Beasley would love to take over Wade's minutes. But he gotta earn their trust that he is going to stay out of trouble for the year.

Sub 10 point game = D-Wade's done his knees are a mess!
25+ point game = He is back to his finals MVP form, Miami's Batman!
Get your head out of your ass. He is just inconsistent as hell, even with knee troubles which more or less every player hovering around 30 years old has.

At this point in his career I doubt Wade really cares about the regular season too much for him to go 100% every game and to feature in every game. It's the best decision for Wade and the heat for him to go on a minutes count every other game so he's 100% for the postseason.
He has obviously declined but he's still a very good player and it looks like he's going to turn into a Manu Ginobolli type of player which isn't a bad thing at all.
He's clearly declined, its not even arguable. At this stage of his career he's not meant to go all out for the entire season + playoffs. The last season he had that in him was 2011. When playoffs roll around if he is smart with his body I see no reason why he can't beast for a two-month span. Even in one of his most injury riddled seasons last year he had flashes of absolute greatness, during the 27 game win-streak he was playing godly defense and efficient and unselfish basketball on offense. Gotta rest and preserve him now though.

Oh, you think it's news to everyone? :lol Wade should and does play well mostly when he needs to. He's in the top 30 alltime players ever. He's a damn good player and that p***y James joined him because he knew Wade could get him out of some tough moments, as well as being friends of course.
Thanks for educating us on shit we ALREADY know

one of these days he's gonna go and try to flip that switch to "beast" mode and just find nothing there

I'm a heat fan ,wades my fav player since his 2nd year.i think he wants to be the old dwade more than win another title as robin so your thing where him picking his spots this season is wrong,he wants to get back at everybody who thinks hes done.he wouldn't say it but u can tell by everything he's been saying lately like how hard it is to not shoot 20 shots and watch lebron do what he used to do,how he choose this for himself.its like he's saying it's my own fault for bringing bron and ruining my individual legacy but I didn't realize at the time what I was doing.if you put a gun to his head and made him pick 4th ship as robin or MVP 30ppg he'd pick MVP.he knows he isn't getting much credit and he wants it to change. I still hope he can turn it around.it isn't like he can't play like he is in his prime like a lot of guys declining.he can play like a god one half and like smush parker the next is why you know its knees, sucks

Lets hold off on this discussion until January or the allstar break. Even prime Wade always started the season as a slow starter.

You never know what you are going to get from the guy from one night to the next, he can hardly stay in the lineup and he has looked like a guy who is done for much of the last 3 years.
Wade's points prior to that game.

hopefully wade doesn't get into all-star games based on past merits...
there are lots of wing players players to choose than to give the sg spot to wade...

Same with Derrick Rose and Kyrie Irving. These guys are shooting under 40% from the field.
Wade will get his usual numbers as the season progresses.

Jeff Teague is playing better than them. I voted Teague as the starting PG in the East.

East all star starters based on play should be:
Teague
George
James
Davis
Hibbert
Yes I realize George is primarily playing the 3 but he's a SG/SF to me.

Wade is averaging 17 ppg on 48 FG%. I am sure before the all star game he could average close to 20 or 21 ppg.

I feel like we go through this every time he has a bad game since LeBron join the Miami Heat.
I think we can accept:
1. He declined already
2. He's been reduced to smaller role to make the team better
3. He's still an all star, still one of the best SGs in the league, could be the best depending on how healthy he is.
4. Historically he always have bad starts.
In 2011 in the month of Nov: 2
21.6 ppg, 6.2 rpg, 3.9 apg on 45.2%.
Ppl were saying that he and LeBron decline that year early in the season.
in 2012 in the month of Dec:
19.8 ppg, 3.3 rpg, 5.8 apg on 47.1%
The month of Jan: 20.3 ppg, 4.4 rpg, 5.3 apg on 43.1%
Ppl said the same thing.
In 2013 season in the month of Nov: 17.1 ppg, 4.5 rpg, 4.8 apg on 46.6%
Ppl said the same thing
Now ppl are saying the same thing this year. Wade's fine. We all know that he isn't the player he was in 09 anymore, but Wade's fine. All that matters is that he keeps healthy come playoff time because the Heat may not win this year without him.

That's the thing when you have lebron on your team. The last game lebron played trash for his standards was the clippers game, and that game wade saw that and played like an alpha.
Lebron has been dropping 30+ on 60%+ since, so there is no need to him attack the rim and risk a injury to get more points. Just shoot mid range jumpers, and if they are not falling ok, just make sure they are on in the end of the season because in the playoffs against pacers you will need it.

Yet he killed the Mavs the night before. Regular season he doesn't need huge games not on back to backs.

I don't have expectations for Wade anymore, too hard to predict how he'll play. Everyone said "Wait for vintage Wade come playoff time :pimp:" and he had one of the worst playoffs for an elite player in a while.

Quite the contrast between D-Wade and Lebron when you compare the drop-offs in athletic ability. Hard to believe Wade's only 2 years older.
Heck, even Kobe who is 4 years older than Dwyane had more spring in his step pre-injury.
