or venting that he is colorblind and the NBA is a jerk for exploiting his handicap

The league should never do that again - one team with orange jerseys, another with red.

It was too confusing.

I can't even tell if that's his teammate or a hawk. who the hell thought it would be a good idea to wear all orange uniforms against all red? ridiculous.

They need to stop with this allowing home teams to wear their road jersey. Shit is confusing at first glance, or viewing. Keep it classic, white @ home, color on the road. As it's always been. They keep trying to be innovative and it just comes off as forced and corny. It all stems from their long time special treatment I think for the Lakers of letting them wear gold (no white) @ home, and still the color purple on the road. I have no problem with each team having one alternate jersey, and maybe special occasional retro jerseys but they should be in the home white, or away color blocking.

I have some color blindness, but it's more dark colors if the lighting is bad. (A black shirt and a navy blue shirt are the same thing to me.) I was confused watching the stream which team was which at times. That was pretty stupid. Knicks sucking aside, it made no sense to dress in similar colors.

That or simply tell the other team, "Hey bring both home and away jerseys just in case we have a color nightmare."

Good point. Also not a fan of the majority color blocking of shoes matching the uniform. Look at the Knicks here in orange shoes. It looks stupid, monochromatic.

I don't mind accents of the team's colors for spice on the shoes, but the main color blocking of shoes used to be strictly white or black. I wish this was still in place.

This rule change in the NBA for sneaker color blocking is what doesn't allow me to go into Footlocker anymore and get a versatile pair of white or black shoes to hoop or walk in casually that goes with anything ...

Instead because now the shelves are packed with ghetto, juvenile, garish Fruit Loop colorways in sneakers.

Yup, both teams in colored jerseys in general is stupid.

It should always be "White" vs "Colored". Just like the 1960's.

I'm still not exactly sure what Melo was doing. So he thought that was a Knick? But even if it was, the player wasn't looking for the ball?

You watch it enough it becomes funny. But it was a hard game to watch with the orange background as well. Should have used a different colored ball as well.

Did he get a tech?

If it wasn't his team. I've seen techs given on much lighter offenses.

This is why "home whites" exist. At least it was not Miami's black and red jerseys angainat Chicago's black and red jerseys.

So glad I root for a team that has its own separated color scheme. White at home or gold at home, both good. No confusions.

Its Melo. His passing skills aren't exactly polished.

Can't really blame Melo on this one.
He was trying to throw it to JR Smith.
If it was his teammate, they would have gotten out of the way.
Maybe he got confused with the colors, which is understandable.

Still, watching it repeatedly makes him look stupid. Which isn't fair.

Wow wtf...that game musta been hilarious to watch.

And actually, i think that that might actually bode well for Melo. I would think that the best and quickest passers would be the one who get most fukked up by everyone wearing the same color jerseys, because they throw a pass on the drop of a hat and don't think about it...Nash, Paul, Rondo, etc...they see the slightest opening and they'll make the pass...they don't just hold on to the ball for an extra few seconds staring at the person that they'll be passing to.
