And we can say... Good. More L's only mean a better draft pick, but we know the team will win just enough to not get a player with real star potential.

The Hawks have the right to swap with Brooklyn so the tanking strategy doesn't make much sense. If current trends continue, Atl will be in the 2nd round while BK might have a top 10 pick.

hawkfan finally gets it, especially why GOBB wants Kidd fired.

The Hawks have the right to swap draft picks with Brooklyn from the Joe Johnson trade.

So if the Nets end up in the lottery and somehow end up with the no. 1 overall pick, that means the Hawks get that pick. Even if they finish top 3, that's still a superstar player. But no. 1 overall would be better.

So the Hawks can make the playoffs and still get Andrew Wiggins. Plus we will get our first round pick from this year, Lucas Nogueira, coming to America. And we will have enough cap space to sign a max level free agent. And that is still keeping our core of Horford, Millsap, Teague, Williams, Schroeder, Jenkins, Ayon, Antic, Korver. We will have rights to Scott as well.

Well managed Danny Ferry.

So keep Jason Kidd as head coach (really it's not his fault - he has to play KG and PP, since management traded for them when they should both be out of the rotation and playing sporadically until the playoffs), and burn out KG and PP with pointless minutes in games, trying to pretend like they are 10 years younger than they are.

:biggums: I dont keep track on the Atlanta Squawks draft trade status or details. Heck I dont even know what the Sixers get if NO picks top 5 next draft. Is it unprotected in 2015? Top 3? Hey since you know everything can you break down the details of that trade if NO were to pick top 5?

Oh hell yeah. Only untouchable on the roster imo. I guess Rondo is because we'd never get value back for him... but I'd trade Rondo in the right deal. Probably wouldn't trade Sully.

Definitely. I think with time, Sullinger can become someone like David West. Hell, right now I think he's the best player on the active roster with Rondo out.
