It's not a choice, it was a part of the Dwight trade. NY owes the Nuggets their '14 pick and own their own pick. Nuggets then owe the Magic one of the picks, either their own or the Knicks one, whichever is worse. If the Nuggets get nr. 5 and Knicks get nr. 8, the Magic get nr. 8. If the Knicks get nr. 2 and Nuggets nr. 5, Magic get nr. 5.

I know it is. It was a joke. If it somehow ends up with NY getting a top 3 pick, Denver gets it since Denver hardly will have a high pick themselves. I seriously doubt that. But you never now...

But, lets say Denver gets nr. 1 from the New York Supertankers and Utah nr. 2, Orlando nr. 3 with their own pick OR from NY/Denver... Orlando might still get Wiggins as I don't see him as a lock to go nr. 1 or 2 as of right now. So, I'm not totally off the chart here haha
