How did he get so explosive? He seems like some nonathletic scrub out there.

Here's another Griffin high school clip, where he looks a little more like himself: https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=YWkkHdByimI

Blake looks like a lumbering stiff out there - he definitely did something to artificially increase his athleticism there's no way you go from being that flat-footed as if he's got concrete in his shoes to an NBA dunk contest participant without artificial enhancement.

I've seen people who grew up with me in high school go from 6'6 stiffs, who didn't have any co-ordination, and were no where near my level as late as year 11 in high school, go on to become professional players here in Australia, and reach a level higher than I ever have. It happens.

He looks plenty athletic in the video anyway. Missing a few dunks due to trying to take off from too far doesn't mean anything. Both the ones he missed were off two feet anyway, and its blatantly obvious throughout Blake's career that hes a one footed jumper.

At least EJ and Blake played together for a year. They had some nasty P&Rs.

He completely changed his form after his first season idk why.

There was a while where he didn't even dribble, he'd just spin it out and shoot it with that kink at the top. He actually looks like a competent free throw shoot here, real smooth compared to the last couple years.
