Thibs runs these players into the ground and they get injured or have nothing left come playoff time.

If Rose does have the procedure that puts him on the shelf for 6 months it's time to rebuild either completely (I'd listen to offers for Rose) or rebuild with Rose being the second option and bring in a new star player.

If Rose goes with the other procedure and only misses a month, it's still time to make changes. They need another star player. Trade for Kevin Love or sign Carmelo Anthony.

I don't see him doing it. He's not changing. It's time to part ways.

Sure, let's trade coaches. We get Thibs, you get Mike Brown.

When Thibs was hired we should have gone with the other mentioned candidates like Lawrence Frank or Avery Johnson.

At least we would be rested come playoff time.

Just not in the playoffs.

Send Rose to Phoenix, and he will stop having injuries.

While that is completely true, he is a top 3-5 coach in the NBA. You guys should be happy to have him.

I have noticed that though the past couple of years. Especially Luol Deng, amazing how he's held up with the exception of the playoffs last year.

The thread is a joke. Even though Thibs does usually overwork his players, he had been monitoring Rose's minutes very closely. Rose was getting only 31-32 minutes of playing time, and he was already showing signs of elite athleticism again, so any other coach would have probably let him play even more minutes.

Rose is just unlucky, oh and our medical staff sucks.

The bench just isn't that strong also. Last year they had nate robinson providing a good scoring punch and also marco provided some good minutes. Heck if they still had hamilton, maybe he could score some buckets. When you have a weak bench like they have this year, you have to play your starters a bunch of minutes, that is if you want to win.

Thibs is a great defensive coach, but he should take a few pages from Pop's book. San Antonio always cruises to 50+ seasons and for the past few years it seems like Duncan/Manu are getting plenty of rest time.
