I'm almost certain it's this. The same goes for Derozan and his 10 for 24 nights, every other night this season.

I don't know if any of you are aware of this but stats really can kill a team's chemistry. That doesn't mean that banning stat sheets from the locker room will do anything but the NBA is a stat driven league. Guys will get their stat sheets and then start complaining about how many shots they got and minutes and all that kind of BS. Then they complain to their agents who in turn complain to the GM and they hope that the GM says something to the coach. It sucks because everyone wants a big contract and it gets in the way of how the team plays. Obviously in a tightly run organization like San Antonio this stuff isn't really allowed to happen but on many teams this does happen. I know this from people who I know who play and have played in the league. I also know an assistant coach in the NBA as well and this kind stuff can be very bad for teams sometimes.

So basically now they'll just pick up their smart phones and check the box scores on ESPN.

What a sneaky asshole.

Rudy needs to be pulled into line when he shoots to much.

The team could benefit from seeing the stat sheet say once a week or month, not every game...

The fans of Toronto need to bring a stat sheet with them to games and show him 11 from 37   He needs to be exposed!

Are you people really implying the players are unaware of their stats? That if some guy doesn't bring the sheet into the locker room that they're oblivious and ignorant?

You would have thought the Raptors stopped looking at stat sheets after the game in late January of 06

You can't just brush it under the carpet Rudy!

Are you serious? Like the players don't have computers and won't go see the stats when they get home. Of course they will!

He just doesn't appreciate that it's the first focus RIGHT after the game, a time where the team is together and potentially filled with emotions.

A locker room after a game where everbody sits by themselves and look into stat sheets doesn't sound productive.

It was a simple message that the team doesn't play for stats.

ISH's majority response ? It's about Rudy protecting himself because of his stats...

Just take it for it was. And the Houston game happened 2 weeks ago. If Rudy said that right after the game or a day/two later, then it would obviously be sketchy. He's been playing better since that game, shooting %'s aside.
