DRose situation reminds me most of Allan Houston.
Big contract star in his prime,
never the same again after knee surgery.

Maravich, Livingston, Houston, Webber, Manning, Mash.

I came in here to post Manning. Repped. We only got to see glimpses of what he may have been. He had to have major knee operations 3 times over his career with the first one coming in his rookie season.

Kendrick Perkins? I never saw him play much before the injury, but from highlights and what it sounded like we were getting vs what I' seen since I'd think the injury had something to do with it.

I think it was his back that hurt him during the 1993-94 season. He did come back and made all star in1995 though.

Grant Hill had ankle issues. I don't believe he ever had problems with his knees. He still wasdriving to the basket after he came back from the injuries.

I thought Grant Hill's injuries were plagued by his foot/feet? Not knees.

Hmmm... since this thread potentially has some people who know something about knee problems, I'd like to know if someone can help me out with this:

I played some ball last year for about 30 minutes. I sprint and slash a lot, and I noticed my left knee kind of 'buckle' at one point. I felt like if I kept going hard on my knee it was going to 'snap'. I quit playing that day out of fear, I didn't want to risk any kind of injury seeing how I was spending 2 months in europe on vacation. I didn't play any basketball until this year since and didn't have any similar symptoms at all.

What could it have been? Any thoughts?
