How is that even possible. He isn't even a consensus top 3 pick.

Wiggins showed in their head to head matchup this season, that stats don't translate to dominating a game.
Wiggins didn't put up the stats Parker did, but he thoroughly dominated the game they played.

This guy is destined for Utah, never has a mormon balled so hard as Jabari Parker. If Stern rigs this draft like he did with the Derek Rose draft, I wouldnt even fault him, Utah Jazz is a great franchise and deserves something good to happen to them for once.

so if utah gets the 1st pick they want parker? why not just trade the pick with a team that wants wiggins and get some other player too :confusedshrug:
like for example the kings get the 2nd pick in the lottery but they badly want wiggins so they trade their 2nd + mclemore for the 1st jazz pick

He most certainly did not. The matchup was a wash, at best

Not sure anyone deserves anything for trying to lose and Stockton and Malone in back to back drafts was something pretty good to happen to them. They blew the opportunity!

Do you not think the Kings would prefer to have Parker/Wiggins and Mclemore rather than just one of them?
I have not really seen much of either but is one really that much better than the other where you give a raw with potential #7th pick on a cheap 4 year deal as well as a #2 pick for either Parker/Wiggins.

On paper, they may be close near the draft, but in the end one will most likely be much better than the other.

It depends.
If Parker is able to avoid the trap, of becoming a one dimensional scorer early on like Melo, and sustains his willgness to pass, and to improve on the defensive end then the sky is the limit for him. If you look at Melo's scoring ability it becomes obvious that the only thing that held him back from being a top 5 player every year, was those obvious flaws in his game.
If Parker succeds in emphasizing those aspects of his game, early in his career, I fear that at his peak you could have something scary. Carmelo's anthony scoring versitility, with the all around game of Grant hill and the assassin approach to the game of Paul Pierce
To me that's parker's celing and if he can reach that, regardless of where Wiggins peaks it will be close.

He needs to improve his dribbling if he's going to be a SF in the NBA, but he can definitely score.

Based on what is Mclemore shit? The dude atm is just still nervous when he's out there and has elite movement off the ball to go along with insane explosiveness he just needs to get comfortable playing at the NBA level.
