1. Duncan
2. Lebron
3. Kobe
4. KG
What does the rest of the list look like?

1.) Tim Duncan
2.) Kobe Bryant
3.) LeBron James
4.) Kevin Garnett
5.) Dirk Nowitzki
6.) Steve Nash
7.) Dwyane Wade
8.) Paul Pierce
9.) Ray Allen
10.) Tony Parker
Nash and Nowitzki was tricky for me. I gave it to Dirk for a couple of reasons. He won a ring as the main man against the favored Heat and totally blew away most people's expectations in that series And he's the greatest international player to play in the NBA and sustain it for that the amount of time that he has. Even this season he's putting in a quiet 32 minutes per game, shooting 48% from the field, 39% from three with 21 points per game...at 35 years old.
Pierce and Allen were interchangeable for me too. I gave it to Pierce because he's in high company as one of the greatest Celtics of all time (at least numbers wise). He's passing names like Bird, McHale in terms of points or assists. It's still hard for me, I can still put Allen ahead as the greatest shooter of all time. Allen has a great professionalism about the game I love and he always comes into each and every season in tip-top shape ready to play. I heard this season he went on a Paleo diet and was eating clean the during the summer. He always looks like he's in the 6%-9% body fat range.
I gave the nod to Tony Parker at ten because the man deserves it. He's playing next to the greatest PF in NBA history and he gets overlooked a lot. He's won what? 3 rings? He's totally played above the expectations of where he was drafted at. The Spurs have done great with him. He'll go down as a Hall of Famer.
Personally I didn't rank Dwight Howard or Durant yet because they haven't played long enough to me. Both of them can easily move ahead of Parker, Allen, Pierce and Wade.

Duncan should be ahead of Bean
Nope, not on my list. I messed up too, Wade should absolutely be ranked over KG and Dirk. I messed up. Anyway, that's my list. No one is telling me who goes where. My eyes saw what they saw.

Duncan should be ahead of Bean
Personally I don't feel he can move ahead of Duncan unless one of two things happen. He breaks Jabber's scoring record, or he gets another ring.

Yeah... I don't get it. Wade is a better two way player and won as the man.

Based on this year Nash is currently in the top 10 worst list. He's done.

2. Kobe Bryant
3. LeBron James
4. Dirk Nowitzki

No one else really matters, Durant is a couple of seasons away though. Chris Paul needs a major postseason run and he will be there.

Yeah... Wade had no impact on the series. Wade attacking the basket relentlessly didn't matter. Crawford and Walker' should have won the Finals mvp.

So I assume we're doing the top 10 current players' careers, if the NBA ended today? And not those players that we think deserve mention amongst the greatest of all time?
Players within tiers are very loosely in order. I could easily be dissuaded from the "ranking".
Duncan, Kobe
Lebron, KG, Pierce, Wade, Howard
Nash, Dirk, Allen
HM to mention to:
Juwan Howard, Melo, Durant, Paul, Pau, Amare, Jermaine, Jamison, Bosh, Parker, Ginobili, Billups, Artest, Camby... probably forgetting a few of the older generation.
Edit: HM list NOT at all in order. Just as I thought of them.

LeBron, Duncan, Kobe in some order
Garnett
Wade
Dirk
Nash
Nobody else worth mentioning. CP3, KD, AD will be the other 3 in the top 10 by the time they're done though (the first two might be there already, AD is just getting started). I figured Dwight had a shot, but who knows at this point.
