Seriously it feels like 85% of the league is painful to watch. The teams that are actually good aren't fun to watch either because they just run train for 3 quarters and then put scrubs in.

I likewatching my Magic this year. Oddly enough I've enjoyed watching bad teams play this year more than some good ones.

Maybe record wise, but I've watched a lot of great games this season so far.

No just the east is a joke. When 2/3 of the teams don't even try to win you get ugly basketball.

13 teams in the east are absolutely terrible to watch. Almost the entire west (including mediocre teams like the Kings Lakers) is exciting.

Magic have been promising for sure I like where they're going. With the exception of tonight's OKC game I have not seen very many exciting games but that could be cause I'm watching bad ones. Watching Cavs games doesn't help :lol

Knicks are terrible. OKC-Golden State games are can't misses. It's almost a wash.

Just look at the east standings and tell me that the NBA isn't in a very dark place right now.

You East guys are watching the wrong games. Watch some West games for real basketball.
3 West games going down to the wire tonight: LAL @ DET, GSW @ OKC & LAC @ SAC.

Wtf, I think it's been a great start to the season.

Indiana and Portland are looking great and surprising people. Miami, San Antonio, and okc are still doing well. Some young guys like Angony Davis and John wall are having break out years.

And I mean even two of the bad teams have been fun to watch... The Knicks and nets... They suck and its pretty entertaining watching them have so much talent yet fail to produce.

More people remember LeBron getting his first ring and finals mvp. Westbitch isn't the best on his team, let alone the league :lol

Just tune in to watch a Suns game, 1st team in fast-break points with a top 10 defense.

Gawdsoe and Dragon backcourt, the Morri abusers off the bench, Green windmilling all over the place.

They are a great team to watch right now.

Other than Utah pretty much every team in the West is fun to watch, so many more dynamic/interesting players in the West.

Disagree 100%

Last season was dreadful for me. Boring all 82 games until the playoffs

I'm not saying you have no point but I'd wager that the struggles of the Cavs (you're a Cavs fan, right?) are coloring your perspective. If they were meeting expectations you'd feel better about things.

There are a lot of close games, and I've enjoyed the season so far, but I think there are four reasons the regular season doesn't have it's usual luster:

1) There are so many bad teams that want to lose in order to get into that top 5 come lottery ball day. Also a bunch of perennial lottery teams were supposed to turn it around this season and it doesn't seem to be happening (Pistons, Cavs, etc...)

2) The Heat have won two titles in a row and we're all anxious to see if they can be taken down come playoff time.

3) The top teams are all the top teams from last year, so regular season doesn't really mean anything. There was supposed to be new contenders. The Nets were going to challenge the Heat and with Rose back the Bulls were supposed to be the new favourites in the East. The Warriors were supposed to be challenging for #1 and the Rockets were supposed to dethrone the Spurs in their division. So far it looks like much of the same as last year.

The favourites in the West? Spurs and Thunder. Shocking!

The favourites in the East? Heat and Pacers.

The West of course is a little more fun. If the Clippers can put it together they can challenge for a WCF run, and the Blazers are a big dark horse.

4) The 2013 draft was terrible. There are hardly any rookies worth watching. Last year we had Lillard tearing up the league, Davis holding the spotlight and then a few of other players worth tuning in for (Drummond, Barnes, etc...)
