There's no reason to put Young here. He's more comfortable coming off the bench because he knows that role really well... just score. Even when he was starting with Gasol, his numbers were dreadful because the ball went through Gasol first and foremost.

That's what you don't want. Guy is entering his first game and with his attitude, he's gonna overstress himself potentially when we're not even sure how he's gonna be that first game back. Best thing to do is have him come back in a non pressure game and let him get his game back with no real pressure to have to go all out.

Kobe needs to be careful

Im not sure which achilles he injured but he needs to also make sure that he doesn't put too much weight and stress on the other leg. This happens occassionally when an athelete comes back with an injury to one side of the body and tries to protect it by overusing the other side of the body e.g. going left instead of right all the time. Anyway point is he doesn't want to end up like D rose with two busted knees.
