Should've been a top 3 pick, the only guy to give Anthony Davis a run for his money

One of the few right moves that Dumars made.
All of those teams that passed on Drummond are killing themselves now (except Portland and maybe Golden State).

I like Barnes, but I wanted Drummond. I threw a small tantrum when we passed on him.

Cleveland should've picked Drummond, my boy is a beast with a scoring PG like Jennings, imagine with Kyrie?

Drummond, Lee, Bogut - forget about it.
It would be Golden State vs. Miami in the Finals every year.

Think if he had a pass-first point guard?
Dumars is a terrible GM.

If you saw the game it would shock you to know that Drummond never gets any plays called for him and even when he was nearing 30 pts his teammates were not passing him the ball and instead jacking up long shots

31 pts, 19 rebounds, 6 steals, 2 blocks, 2 fouls (stayed in control), 1 TO
While shooting 12-15 from the field and a somewhat respectable, for Andre at least, 7-18 from the line.

Monster game. Just imagine if he had 3-4 more plays called for him every game. Once he gets his FT up to even 40% he is gonna make teams pay right now he is still is shooting 28% from FT.

Once Pistons trade Monroe for a quality SF, everyone will really see what Drummond is capable of. Monroe took 6 stupid shots today and went 1-6. Those shots should have and would have gone to Drummond if Moose that piece of trash didnt play.

The Pistons should have signed Korver instead of Josh Smith - would have been a far better fit - great shooter, good passer, good ballhandler, high basketball IQ. Smith is a great player, but he doesn't fit with that team.

It's easy to say that now, but there's no telling what would've happened. Especially when you got Mike Brown coaching you. :oldlol: Look what's happened to Irving? He progressed his first two years, now hiring Brown the identity of the team totally changes and Irving has regressed so far.

I always admit when I'm wrong and this is no different. I thought Drummond would be a poor mans Ben Wallace and in this case I was very wrong. I'm not upset with the Raptors for not drafting him because they had already drafted Val whom is another low post big man.

RoundMoundOfReb

I was wrong about him too. I thought he would be a slightly better Deandre Jordan.

I don't think that Monroe is really the problem. I'd say Josh Smith is more of a hindrance than Moose is.

And it did look like a couple of plays ran through Drummond this game. He posted up, then they allowed him to work himself back to the basket. I know I saw two instances of this.

Right now, he is a disruptive force. Swoop in, grab loose balls, tips, cuts, and dunks with authority. He still hasn't built the skill to have a play run for him unless it's for him to streak to the basket off pick and rolls and movement cuts.

But yes, INCREDIBLE game. Pure dominance. Made Philly look like little children.

I don't think Terrence Ross will ever have a game comparable to this kind of impact in his entire career.
