Konex curse lives on. If I remember correctly he started a thread on AD a few weeks ago.

I drafted Rose and Davis as my 1st and 2nd pick...

Hope it's not serious.

The guy I'm playing this upcoming week drafted both Rose & Davis. Should be an easy W. (Also has Beal injured)

out indefinitely as per RealGM's headlines

depends if he will cast it or have surgery. Sometimes having surgery is the best option, but since its his weak hand, he may be able to return after keeping in a cast for a few weeks.

It will all depend on his re-evaluation.

He's out 2-5 weeks. I had the same injury a few years ago I was fine after 2 weeks but you have to let it fully heal or it can break fully.

That is just brutal. He was having such a great season. Man... once again, this sucks for the NBA. It's been a tough week.

well, as injuries go it could be a lot worse. Not like it's a knee or back or something.

This is the silver lining. Should be fine long term. Non-shooting hand.

This really sucks, he was having a spectacular season.

Still he will probably be able to return later in the year, and it's unlikely to lead to longterm problems, so it could be a lot worse. However, it will probably cost him his All-NBA 1st team selection.

Which one of their backup bigs should I pick up in fantasy then? Isn't Stiemsma still out too?

They could slide Aminu over and go small ball with Ryan Anderson @ the C when Jason Smith needs breather also Lou Amundson mins could see a big spike up he will get you steals/blocks and boards.

Thanks man. Pretty sure Smith and Amundson are available, I'll keep tabs on them.

Smith is a good pick up regardless if AD is out depending on how big your L is, if it's a 20+ team L I'm sure he's worth it straight up.

How bad is the fracture from the incident?
Did he scream in pain on the floor??

You guys think this will take weeks or months? Or a season goner?

I am pissed, he is the man of my fantasy team and one of my favorite players this year. Hope he comes back in just a few weeks.

It is good news that it is a non-shooting left hand, and not a knee/ankle/back type of injury though.

it will take weeks...at least. unfortunate. he was fun to watch and plays the game the right way. hopefully he recovers on time and balls up once again. i absolutely believe he was starting to live up to the massive hype.

i don't own him in my fantasy league, but just some advice...do not even think about dropping him. he's actually been the #1 ranked fantasy player so far this season...above durant, lebron and cp3. you cannot drop a guy like that who has the potential to come back sometime early next year.

I'm pretty sure Davis with 1 hand is still better than fully healthy Lou on both ends of the floor tbh, he can still block shots with his strong hand and they about the same threat on offense when Davis has 1 hand to catch with.

The thing on his arm looks like the cast Oden wore on his hand in college. Anyway, maybe NO tanks the year and gets Wiggins. If that happens the Hornets are set for the next 15 years.

How long do you think until Davis is back? 2-4 weeks like Pierce?

5-8 weeks I bet, they won't risk it.

Good thing it was his non shooting hand....was frustrating having Kevin Love last year too. Hopefully I can see it not being that bad when he gets a second opinion and it will heal on its own plus practicing and easing back in. Return in beginning to mid January.
