then i have: harden, westbrook, love, davis, curry, parker/aldridge which are interchangeable. since davis is injured put howard in there.

seriously after

1. Lebron
2. Durant
3. Paul
4. George

i have no idea

harden's defense is questionable.. westbrook and love are inconsistent and pretty bad fg%.. kobe and rose are injured, howard isnt putting great stats, melo, irving are inefficient and their teams stink... aldridge, griffin, curry, parker have been decent buy they are borderline top 10 at best

So, does Westbrook get a pass for playing poorly on a statistical level while Irving does not because his team is worse? Is that how it goes?

Even when he's not statistically dominating he's making his team better. The same can't really be said for Irving. He doesn't command the defensive pressure Westbrook does.

Also, defence, which Westbrook is miles ahead of Irving from what I've seen.

Bro, do you not know about the impact he has when he's on the floor for OKC?

It's night and day. No other PG in the league could possibly have the same effect on OKC's offense.

I mean, did you see OKC's offense when Westbrook was out, bro? Then he came back and it was like night and day.

CP3, Curry, Parker... no one could possibly have as much impact as Westbrook did on the Thunder. Bro, are you being forreals with this question?

Lies. Although it's close, Durant had been better to me and OKC have the better record. Last night's game alone practicality puts him ahead of Paul if you didn't have him there already.

you ranked curry below westbrook but unless he gets hurt, he makes his team better more than westbrook does.
here are top PGs according to me right now:
1. paul
2. curry
3. parker
4. westbrook
westbrook has higher celing than anybody outside of cp3 though. curry is a way more willing passer even if stats don't fully show it. i have ranked parker at 3 because i do think he would be as good playing for a bad coach but then against i don't think other than curry, any of the top PGs could play for Pop as all of them have a huge ego problem and westbrook probably has the biggest ego problem among top PGs.

both curry and chris paul would make okc better in the playoffs than wesbrook would.

No it's not, because there are far more factors that you're not taking into account. The impact on the game/team between those two just isn't comparable .

I don't disagree. At the same time, I feel like Westbrook should be able to score at an easier rate than he is doing right now.

i took defense into account when making that list but still curry is too far ahead as he can pass better than Westbrook is probably going to be called the best shooter games has seen when he retires. Westbrook is only better than curry if both of them are playing on really bad teams that are not even playoffs contenders. both are talented enough to win championships but if i have a top 5 player on my team who can drive to basket like kd does then i am taking curry. curry would also make ibaka better than westbrook does.
Wesbrook is only close to curry because of the defense factor other wise curry is a lot better offensively at least right now.

4-10 (not in order): Paul George, Anthony Davis, Kevin Love, Stephen Curry, James Harden, Russell Westbrook, Tony Parker (?)

I have only been able to watch parts of about 4 games this year here in Oregon, so I have to base this off of stats mostly and the games I saw last year/what i know about players in general. Top 3 haven't changed since last year IMO.

Top 4 is fairly easy for me:

1. LeBron
2. Durant
3. CP3
4. Paul George

Then after that, I'm not so sure.

As of 12-2-2013, Anthony Davis is looking very good this year, Harden and Love are playing very well, too.

LaMarcus Aldridge: 22-10 on 46% and one of the best records in the league.

Steph Curry is putting up 22-9 on 46% and killing it from 3-point land.

Carmello's defense is questionable, but the guy is putting up 26-10 (albeit on a horrible losing team, and on 42%).

Dwight Howard has questionable games, but I can't find a way to leave him off the top 10 list because of his rebounding and defense, and manages to give you 17 points a game on 57%. D12 = 17-12 with 2 blocks on 57%

Cousins = 22-10 with 1.2 blocks and 1.6 steals on 49% (losing team, though).

It's hard to put Westbrook in the top 10, but only because of the BELOW .400 FG%. He has to get that up some in order to be top 10, as a lot of players are putting together good seasons (Kevin Martin, Cousins, Klay Thompson, Monta Ellis, Afflalo, John Wall etc).

Imo if your team is significantly below 500. you have no place being in the top 10 until they are near 500. So talented players like DMC(this coming from a Kings fan)/Melo you can't say overall are top 10 at this point in time. If you can take a awful team to near 500. or slightly than it show's your legit top 10 player otherwise you got to wait for a better team before making that claim.

To me someone like Ty Lawson deserves a near top 10 spot due to the fact he's taken a injured/average Denver team above 500.

I get what you're saying, I feel that a teams record can be a "tie-breaker" but sometimes players are very great, despite their team not doing well overall. Take Carmelo for example. Chandler is hurt and Amare' is well, Amare now. JR Smith has been playing terrible, but Melo is still putting up 26-10.
