Say he points it at the highway but theres a pack of like 6 vehicles.. how does he know which one is speeding?
Can i get pulled over and be like "na man that dude next to me was going faster than me" ?

I'm assuming they can probably tell based on which car is passing all the other cars

Even if the cars are very close to one another and are all speeding, he'll just stop one.

They can send drones to deliver the boxers your mom bought you for Christmas, you don't think they can tell which car goes which speed?

I can't explain the gadget of a radar, but I know the law will say he's a professional with the equipment so you can't dispute it, such as staying it was the car next to you. They trust the cops abilities over your word
Plus, you won't win the argument in court even if the cop was being a dick. Court can consider you being in contemption (sp) of court if you try to argue the point with a judge. Then you get hit with an even bigger fine. Nothing left to argue after that.

Also, the cop's position limits the radar gun to detect only one vehicle at a time. The cops detect your speed as you are reaching them, not as you pass them.

They just pick out the car driven by the black person.

Well the question was how do they know which vehicle is speeding, not which vehicle is speeding more. If one of you is going 80 and one is going 85 you're both going too fast so he'll just pull over whichever one he saw first. It's not like you can say "well yeah i was breaking the law but he was breaking it a little worst so i'm innocent"

People have taken them to court and won here in Australia, they refuse most cases but they aren't as accurate as they claim. If I recall correctly the case I saw recently was someone being clocked as going faster than was physically possible in the vintage car they were driving, I think another one had them clocked as speeding and when they reviewed the photo a motorbike was passing them and the system got confused. But then again these may be like 0.01% of cases anyway

It cant tell what car is going faster if they come at the same time no. But if he stoped you it is because you were probably speeding, just not as fadt ad the other guy.
