On January 3, 1984, Jeff Malone of the Bullets made a crazy sprinting last second three-pointer as he was falling out of bounds, winning the game 103

I remember shitting my pants in excitement when this happened. :lolI was watching that game. I turned it when Denver gained possession up three at half court with one second left. Stumbled upon the game in overtime five minutes later. One of the biggest moments I've ever missed.

underrated... because it's not in the NBA

Ginobili's game winner against Serbia in 2004... after dropping 25 pts already

http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=aepOa9iVFb4

Also his game winner against the Warriors in the 2013 playoffs became overshadowed (understandably) by his poor performances.... but still pretty clutch

Jerry West stealing the ball from Cousy and beating the Celtics at the buzzer during the 1962 Finals. The video of the play has been surfaced just a few years ago.
Also, while not exactly a buzzer beater, Kareem hit a series-winning basket against the Nuggets in the 1979 playoffs. And, almost getting to 2014, there's still not video of it and obviously not anyone talking about it, mentioning it as being among Kareem's greatest moments, etc. Imagine Jordan or another 80's and beyond superstar hitting a series-clinching basket and no video of it existing online and nobody talking about it...

I like this one by Dragic on the Grizzlies just cause it's so unique.
A friggin PG going all post-moves on the DPOY center!

Not only an underrated buzzer beater I think, but an underrated clutch perfromance overall. Ray Allen hits 8 threes in 4th quarter/two OTs including the gamewinner from 30+ feet.

I remember this! Didn't he have another one like a week later against the Kings IIRC? From the corner? Andy the clutch gawd.

My god, that right corner was HOT that night.

I found the vid of what I was thinking, it was Andy from that same corner as Big Z but to end the third quarter, not the game. Then Zydrunas hits 3 of them from the exact same spot to close out the game.

Ron Artest vs Suns WCF 2010 is underrated.

Game 5, 2-2. I think if Suns had won that game they would have won the series.

That's actually a great strategy if that was on purpose. They knew they had a terrific offensive rebounder in Barkley and the clock doesn't start until the ball actually touches someones hands, so just throw the inbound off the rim, hope you don't accidentally make it :oldlol: and hope for the tip in.

Also somewhat remiscent of the Duncan-Fisher incident in the fact that the first shot would have been a great game winner but the second shot was even better and totally shocking sucking the energy out of the arena.

EDIT: Looks like they were trying to alley oop to Ceballos but missed the target and it was just a great bail out by Barkley on second look. Still stand by it being a great strategy if it's not against the rules for some reason.

The year with Gilbert Arenas hit a buzzer beater like every week.
