For the NBA as a whole... probably something from the 90's or earlier, Jordan related. Magic and Bird squaring off. Something iconic and representative
For the Spurs.... this picture

this is pretty significant in that it shows how the NBA doesn't enforce it's own rules and violations

ive only been folliwing the nba since like 2007, and the only memorable cavs moments since then centered around lebron, so they dont really mean anything now, so i guess id have to go with something historic instead, and this was the first to come to mind

he travelled, numerous articles and debates about it at the time
not complaining the NBA doesn't call these types of the calls, the same goes with the foul on the spurs 3 point attempt. Just the way the NBA is and it's silly they have to have points of emphasis to actually enforce their own laws. If you can't camp in the paint they should call it, if you make contact even on a buzzer beater they should call it, if you travel even on an open lay up or dunk they should call it. It's the rules and they should follow them

kind of like his "game changing" block on splitter that was nice but happened in garbage time when they were up by like 15  media hype train rolls on, sure it was a pretty brutal block but don't call it game changing or the best block ever when it meant nothing in the context of the game
