View Full Version : Your NBA MVP....so far
My vote would go to Paul George. If PG can keep the Pacers on this pace for the best record in the league, he gets it IMO.

If he keeps it up and the Pacers keep winning, I'd be more than happy to give it to him. Take Lebronze off the Heat, they still probably get to the Finals. Take George off the Pacers, they might not make the playoffs (ok, maybe they do because the East is terrible), but they are not title contenders.

Its a two man race between George and Durant right now.
1. Lebron James
2. Kevin Durant
3. Chris Paul / Paul George

As I don't take records to give awards, I would say CP3.
Not saying Lebron doesn't deserve it, but Jordan deserved to win more than 5, so there's no way I'm going to give Lebron 5 already...

This is a team who with prime & healthy Wade missed the playoffs or got essentially swept in 1st round all the time since 2006.... i dont think a simple addition of Bosh would have been helpful enough to make the Finals... especially not at this stage as they are not as good/healthy as before...

It's lebron and it's not even close
Paul George gonna fall off quick
KD will never surpass James
Cp3 isn't a MVP

Lebron won't get it this year, that team is top 5 if he took the season off.

Whatever helps you sleep a night, brah.
Lebron will get it if he keeps shooting close to 60% and the Heat has a top 3 record.
The man leads his team in ppg, apg, and rpg. Leading your team all of those categories is crazy and screams MVP and exactly what voters look for when voting. He's so extremely valuable to his team and the success they accomplish.

This. It's LeBron. Durant is 2nd.

So far Paul George and Chris Paul are making strong cases for themselves, but by the end of the year it's probably going to be one of the two usual suspects.

Durant, Paul, and George have a better case than LeBron right now.
We'll see how it plays out, but I pretty much guarantee LeBron won't win it again.

We've all seen how this goes. Player A gets hot for a while and then people start hoping he wins MVP. Once he falls off, people start rooting for player B, essentially anyone but Lebron. I remember last year, first it was Melo, then Kobe (), then Durant, etc.

LeBron. I think his scoring efficiency is unsustainable though, but if it keeps up it's him followed by a nice gap. I'd say PG, KD, CP3 (and AD, before getting hurt) are together in the next bunch, and nobody else is in the conversation.

Lebron. But I think they are going to give the MVP Award to Durant. Come on KD is better than PG. Heat would have the best record in the NBA this week.

Yeah, because those were the exact same teams as this team minus LeBron.

The people saying KD are laughable. It will be just like last season when KD has all the MVP hype and LeBron goes into hick town and beats his team again to take the momentum. George is good, but Pacers aren't going to keep up this pace. Have fun watching LeBron win his 5th MVP. :oldlol:
