Seems like it happens every other game.

The defensive rotations are unacceptable.

KG215

F**k this shit. That's like the fourth 2-5 footer we've missed on top of about 5 or 6 open jumpers from 10-15 feet.

Thunder can't finish at the rim smh

KG215
12-03-2013, 11:22 PM
The Kings must've paid a witch doctor put a voodoo to put a hex on the basket on our end. That's the only logical explanation for all the close shots we're missing.

Budadiiii
12-03-2013, 11:26 PM
The Kings are absolutely atrocious though. I don't feel threatened at all.

Thunder playing their worst since that T-Wolves game and yet it still feels like they're in control.

Sacramento is an absolute joke of a franchise. Sacramento Queens.

My hometown team > your hometown team. That makes me better than you, hillbilly.

Seriously though, the Queens suck. OKC plays with no energy for 20 minutes and still up 3 at halftime. I notice how hard Sac is trying and I can't help but laugh. Embarrassing squad. And the fans? Jesus Christ. I even heard a couple of crickets mid 2nd quarter. Worst atmosphere in the league.

Did Perry Jones do something to Scott Brooks to piss him off? He was playing well this season but hasn't played in several games. I mean I understand wins are important, but if he can't get PT against the Kings then who can he play against?

The hell does Fisher need so many minutes against some of these teams? Like I said, Perry has played pretty well when given minutes. Sitting him on the bench for 3-5 straight games isn't going to help his confidence and whatever rhythm he was in is now gone.

Chuck Hayes has always been one of my favorite non-OKC players. A 6'6" center and he's managed to stay in the league for 9 seasons and counting. I don't even think his feet got off the ground for that rebound and he still came away with it.

Ankle sprain listed day to day nothing serious, got it in the 3rd quarter of the Warriors game after coming down on a rebound so they probs just wanted to rest him and have him fresh for the Lakers game.

KG215
12-04-2013, 12:45 AM
I like this lineup.
Because we actually have offensive threats in more than 3 spots on the floor. Nick and Adams can at least catch and finish in and around the basket, and all 3 of KD, Reggie, and Lamb can score from about anywhere on the floor.

I remember when we had a 23 point lead on the Kings in the 4th quarter at OKC last year and Thomas almost single-handily led the Kings back within 5.

And f**k me that was a terrible 2 minute stretch of defense. A quick 9-0 Kings run and it's down to an 8 point lead.

Yeah, I mean I get he's a good player and all, but some of the shots he was hitting in the 4th were ridiculous. But since I've seen him do something similar to us before, I'm not going to say it was all luck or anything. Just frustrating to see him hit seemingly every jumper and runner/floater he took in the 4th.

OKC really needs to improve on the road if they're going to win a finals series. They were 3-3 on the road before this game and nearly lost to a Kings team without Cousins. To be fair, they lost on a buzzer beater to GSW and should have beated the Clippers if it weren't for Ibaka being unfairly ejected. So maybe they're just being lazy against the shit teams while away.

Thomas went ****ing HAM again on them in the last quarter.. WTF?! Dude looked like Kobe when he's actually dropping shots instead of bricking them. Unreal.

It was also their first road game after a long home stand and those can be dangerous. OKC predictably looked disinterested and sluggish in the 1st quarter and got outscored 31-19. To be fair, we owned the Kings in the 2nd and 3rd quarters, turning that 12 point deficit into a 17 point lead at one point, before Isaiah Thomas went God Mode on us and almost single-handily won the game for Sacramento.

On another note, Durant and Westbrook kinda sucked, but Lamb and Jackson were good off the bench again.

russwest0

I much prefer having two good bench players as opposed to one great one. Not even talking about defense either, where both Reggie and Lamb are miles ahead of Harden.

Jackson has been good for a while, and keeps getting better. Lamb I've been very impressed with. Glad to see he didn't get all upset over the lack of playing time last year and is putting what he's learnt to good use with the minutes this year. Dude can shoot.
