So far I'm absolutely loving the Cavaliers offense. They need to do this every single game. Push the ball. They are pushing it hard with Bynum on the court and when the slow it down Hickson nor Faried have no answer for Bynum except a double-team.

Interesting lineup off the bench...

C - Varejao
PF - Thompson
SF - Bennett
SG - Waiters
PG - Jack

...Bennett hits a transition three.

Bynum is owning us down low, we have no one who can stop him, we are also leaving guys wide open on the perimeter.

^ On pace for a 37 rebound game.

JK

I'd be surprised if he got over 20, I think 15-18 is realistic.

Denver missed some shots, I doubt the keep doing that.

Uncle Drew

Nuggets shooting 40% this quarter. They've had some good open looks, but missed them. As the game goes on, those shots will start to fall. Not looking good.

On the offensive end, feed the big fella.

Holy shit, Bennett just ran a play, passed the ball to Varjeo, ran a curl around him, Varejao gives it back while he sets a screen and he get's a layup.

RedBlackAttack

The Cavs are looking better. That may or may not result in a win, but the offense is moving, we're getting good shots and it looks like we're settling into a consistent rotation.

Bennett is starting to look more comfortable and, as a result, he's getting more meaningful minutes. He had a couple nice moves there at the end of the first. Got a good look on a turnaround jumper that popped out on him and then a nice back-cut. He does move well for a big guy and he's starting to get under control.

I like what I'm seeing in the last seven quarters or so.

We scored 33 points in the first quarter. Considering what this team looked like a week ago, I'd say things are looking pretty good. It's all relative.

This team seems to be getting a semblance of chemistry, which has been the biggest issue in the first few weeks of the season.

I was thinking the same thing. He's done that a lot this year... He'll have a wide open catch and shoot behind the arc and he'll opt to take two dribbled, wait for a defender to close and take a tougher shot. Not sure what that's about.

Denver got lucky twice. Bynum about 5 feet from the basket point blank and just couldn't get the touch.

Just when I'm feeling really good about Kyrie, he dribbles into the corner, gets trapped and throws it away. Stop doing that.

Good defense though.

I was worried about a run just before the half. Damn it... Denver has a really good shooting team.

Still, that was a well played 24 minutes. I'll take it.

Bynum is pushing people around inside. He just can't finish tonight for some reason (there is also a lot of contact not being called). I have to think he'll have better luck with that in the second half.

This was a good game by the Cavs, but I'll need to see a lot more of these before I will be convinced Mike Browns system can work with our guys, I still think we need to learn how to score better as a team, and Mike Brown isn't going to help that happen. But anyways bottom line for tonight's win is that we had great defensive energy all night :applause:

So, you'd rather the team continue to play poorly just to get rid of the head coach? I don't understand you guys at all. We knew (or should have known) this team wasn't going to adapt to a completely new system and staff overnight.

Brown isn't going anywhere, guys. You need to accept that. He has a lucrative five year contract. Grant will be fired before Brown, and even that is a long way off. We're not even 20 games into the season.

The Cavs are looking better. Be happy. That's two straight and they seem to be gaining chemistry. The season is far from over.
