Just recently bought a Molten GG7 last August. I love using this ball because of the grip, and it's pretty much very durable. I think it will last for very long time.

I've been using a nike true grip for more than a year. I'm very happy with it.

i've been using this same wilson solution indoor only ball for more than 4 years now lol. it's completely run out of grip now and its all smooth. i always get complaints about it when people shoot around with it, and people NEVER want to use it as the pick up game ball now lol. i'm contemplating getting a new ball, but i find it hard to say good bye to this ball since i've had it for so long lol. and if i do get a new one, what should i do with this ball? keep it around my house as a trophy? lol

^^^ TF-1000 isn't bad and I feel balls have come a long way (I felt some Nike ball the other day and it was pretty nice), but indeed nothing realy compares to the Evolution.

The splading ball? It is decent, but the Wilson ball has that "sticky" feel, just feels right (no homo)

Ebay $80 froma legit seller.

In Australia you're looking at paying anywhere between $100-$130 for a good basketball, so $80 was great + free shipping.

This. Costs a lot but it's worth it.

I rarely bring my ball in gyms due to people stealing and whatnot

That grinds my gears, people stealing your ball. It's like, you bring a ball so you can all play, and if you don't bring the ball, no one does. :rant

I know it's an age-old question, but what's your choice for outdoor basketballs?

Nice, I think I'll get a GG7. I think it'll help since all basketballs used here are Moltens. Btw, I play in my backyard which is some flat concrete ground, but mostly uneven ground along with small gravel stones around the area. Will it damage the ball too much or you think it'll be okay? Do you ever wash your ball if you use it outdoors? I've obviously had other balls but they're mostly the cheaper rubber balls I find in local stores so I didnt really bother washing them of the dirt.

I mixed them up then. Indoors one is great and we bought one for playing in a gym during the winter. They look really similar tho...

Was using Wilson Evolution before but can't find it anymore so I'm poundin' the Wilson CIS right now. Can't bring myself to like the spalding though, not when they're brand new at least..played with a couple broken in ones and they weren't so bad (tf-1000)

imo they are both indoor balls. the difference between the two really isn't that big. (I don't know how long they last if you play outdoor though)
Personally I really like the Molten basketballs. It takes a bit time to get used to them due to the "double-lines", but the overall feel is simply great and I've played mine for 2 years and the grip is still very very good.
For streetball I use a Spalding TACK-SOFT PRO. Pretty happy with what I got for the money. I need to pump it up a lot though...
