I know Days of Future Past hasn't come out yet, but this is awesome news. I love the Apocolypse storylines, and I was hoping Days of Future Past would set up Apocolypse. Very excited. Can we just skip right to this X-Men movie?

I'm good with the Universe. I like it more than Disney's Marvel Universe (i.e., Avengers).

As far as comic universe series IMO:
1. Nolan's Batman Universe
2. Singer's X-Men Universe
3. Marvel's Avengers Universe
4. Raimi's Spider-Man Universe

This only includes the relevant comics with more than 1 movie released.
The 3 X-men movies Singer worked on are all good. He left part 3, which was the bad one. I did like the 2nd Wolverine movie, but that one wasn't touched by Singer as far as I know.

Or just make a TV series

They never give TV shows the budget to pull things like this off.

They need to stop making movies and let the rights go back to marvel. Otherwise we will never get the Avengers vs. Magneto movie that must be made.

this would make me very very happy.

and do something like civil war or a marvel cosmic event. i doubt they'd do this though...i'd be content with a cosmic event animated mini-series or something

Its Singer again...its gonna be shit. All of the x films have been crappy as hell. I wish they would just quit and do a tv show like Arrow.

Psylocke was in X-Men 3 but didn't actually get to talk or do anything lol. They just had her listed in the credits

That bone claw shit is mad weak.

I'm looking forward to both movies.

X-men is my favorite cartoon/comic of all time so I'll definitely support both films

Arrow has been on point from the jump off; what don't you like about it? Its not on the level of what we get on cable TV but i definitely look forward to it each week. The best part of the show is the pacing thus far; nothing feels rushed nor does it feel like its dragging on. That is one primary thing the X-Men films have suffered from. X-Men stories are full of depth and variety, but what you get from these films is generic action sci-fi movies.

An X-Men TV show would allow for better pacing since the movies are only made for summer cash-ins.

I like the Arrow too but his acting sucks.

His tone always changes from high to low and how people don't know it's him is just ridiculous.

I'm not familiar with the comics but I wish it had more of a sci-fi feel to it like people actually had powers or whatever but I guess they was trying to go the more realistic route

Well i think that's the direction they are going with the introduction of Barry Allen as well as that drug that makes people super human.

I love the show, but have to agree with this. Eventually I got used to it, so it's ok now :lol

As for the topic, definitely looking forward to this. It has amazing potential, but im not really sure if they'll be able to pull it of. Depends on how well DOFP will be received...

Finally the old ancient ass Egyptian god mutant will show up in a movie. Who should do the voice?

I think Days of Future Past is gunna kick serious ass and I'm kind of disenchanted with superhero movies these days.

Any movie with McAvoy, Fassbender with mutat powers and fckin Apocalypse will at least be worth watching.

I didn't like the first few Xmen movies that much, but if they stay true to the storyline, this Apocalypse movie can be nice. I have just finished reading the series and it's awesome. The storyline was quite complex though (different universes etc) and I'm afraid (and pretty sure) they are going to dumb it down for the public.

BTW, I think that Thor guy would make a perfect Magneto and it wouldn't ruin the chance for an Avengers - Xmen crossover (which I don't care about), because the Age of Apocalypse is in a different time/universe.

Singer has avoided CGI characters and I think he will continue to do so, so I'm curious who plays him as a whole, not just voices him. Michael Clark Duncan would have been absolutely perfect. I think Tom Hardy would be good, but they likely would avoid that because of him playing Bane. He just is one of those actors that really becomes a character. Ron Perlman would be decent. Tony Todd could be cool, but I imagine they would look for a bigger name. If they really did just want a voice and CGI the body, Benedict Cumberbadge(sp?) would be great.

I always thought the guy who played tealc in stargate looked like apocalypse. I'm a bit worried this will suck though because it's not an easy story line to adapt.
