None, there are a few players not in the hall over 20,000. Tom Chambers and Mitch Richmond might not make it it.

He does deserve making the HoF.

This dude is so far from being in the hall it's not even funny. He has literally no shot.

His problem is the word "fame." He doesn't have it. If he had spent his whole career in LA or NY with some good playoff runs he might even be a lock. Instead he's just a good scorer who played in relative onscurity and thus has no chance.

No he doesn't. He had some very good years in Washington but not one of the all-time greats.

Ya unfortunately Jamison ain't gonna make the HOF. He was a very good sometimes great scorer. But the Hall frankly is for guys who are EPIC at something. Guys like Richmond and Chambers peaked out as 2nd team All-NBA kind of guys. I think both are on another tier from guys like a Jamison. I think Mitch eventually gets in though cause he's a top 15 caliber GOAT SG. Chambers I don't think gets in, but I give him credit for kind of redefining the PF position.

And it didn't help that Jamison was right in the thick of arguably the greatest PF era of all time. In the late 90's to say the mid 2000s u had Duncan, KG, Dirk, Webber, Sheed, Mcdyess, Old Malone, Brand, Walker, etc. i the mix. Jamison certainly was a factor in that group, but he was also THE TWEENER of the group along with Walker. But Walker had a great package of passing ability, handles, and scoring skillset. So in theory it's a combo of tweener shit, lack of team success, and a deep crop of HOF level talent at the PF. But at the same time, Tawn is an underrated player and a class act. 20,000 points is something that's STILL a great feat and should be applauded!

His points are overrated as he jacked up a shit load of shots to make them. He was never particularly efficient when he was asked to carry the scoring load. Like in 2001 when he averaged 25 points on 22 shots...nothing exceptional about launching up 22 shots to average 25 points. A lot of guys could do that if given the go ahead.

I wouldn't personally vote for him.. But I think he has a 10% chance. He did win college player of the year and will probably finish with around 20300-21000 pts if he plays another season.

Absolutely not. He was never THAT good. He padded his point total playing on shitty 20 win teams.

This quote from Deadspin sums it up pretty nicely:

Antawn Jamison heaves up a ton of low-value shots, pumps up his numbers, shies away from contact, and categorically refuses to play defense. He is, in plain basketball terms, the living caricature of what fans are supposed to hate about the pro game.

If you compare their NBA career, that is right.
