They need to clear a roster spot for the Gay trade.

Omg come to the Lakers

He'd be the 4th stringer if Nash/Farmar/Blake are all healthy enough to play..

"Adequate" is a pretty generous word for him. He's below average even for a backup.

haha these people who are asking, "why did this happen" "can our team sign him" have obviously not watched him play this season. but i honestly cant blame them for that, but only because i dont think hes played 1 minute this season. then again, maybe he has.

but it just goes to show you that if he cant get back up minutes on a team with no back up PG, then maybe your burning desire for him isnt as warranted as you think

he was pretty bad for the pacers last year. but played decent with the cats. but thats cause they really had no one else at the time.

Back to the pacers?lol. no. DJ's terrible. feel for him and all, but he's not an NBA player. guy's probably kicking himself for turning down Charlotte's extension.

He would be a nice addition to the Knicks collection of players nobody else wanted. And I mean that in a bad way. Not in the 1970's Oakland Raiders type of way.

Just feel like thats a piece or something they need, the Pacers are my pick to win it all, just need one point guard to bring it all together or something.

no pun intended

Didn't have the slightest idea that the Raptors had him in the first place.

Don't think Lowry will be there for the camp either :oldlol:

Can Lakers give him 10 day contracts until Farmar comes back?
I have no hope for Nash coming back and being relevant.

Why would the Lakers take him when Blake and Farmar are vastly superior. Kobe can try and fulfil any PG duties (him and Blake) until Farmar and Nash come back.

still really dont need him since kobe can be a play maker when needed. just need someone to guard the other teams bench PGs. either henry or meeks will do. really no need for dj at all.

How much was he offered?

Maybe he'll go to the Bucks.

I though he was good?

he's awful

for a pg who is supposed to stretch the floor he couldnt make a gd shot to save his life

that and the fact that he cant guard anyone who weighs more than a shopping cart, and you have a HORRIBLE back up pg

would rather tank with Buycks and Stone, at least they play hard. I can watch these guys fight for scraps all day like they did in LA

Was the most logical move in terms of our PG situation.

I'm assuming the rest of the starters are next.

He'd be the 4th stringer if Nash/Farmar/Blake are all healthy enough to play..

farmar is out for 4-6weeks
Nash has 1 leg in his retirement house
Blake has right shoulder injury

he can help even if it is for a month
