and lol @ everyone that overrated them. I said they would be marginally better than last year and still be a 2nd round exit type squad. But all the experts and ISH "experts" had them going 2-3 in the West and deeper in the playoffs.
Sitting on a 12-10 record....6-8 away, 4-2 at home :oldlol:
They'll probably be fine and get a 6-ish seed, but god damn it people, take it easy on the overrating.

Douglas, Iguodala, and Ezeli are out. Iguodala's absence will obviously leave an impact.

Pretty mediocre start so far. It's really been our defense that has failed us. Giving up 115 to the Bobcats is unacceptable.
I think most logical fans had the Warriors in the 5-8 seed, with a chance to crack the top 4. The West is so stacked, it's really going to come down to matchups come playoff time.

Did someone say it's way too early. :lol We're more than a quarter into the season. I think Golden State will improve their winning percentage but not by much. They will probably finish 6th in the West.
Memphis has been a bigger disappointment so far.

They can still get it together, tons of time left and it's not like the Clippers are running away with the division

Lets just wait till iggy comes back and then we can see if they really did get overrated. I think people saying 5th-7th seed are on the money.

Injuries are really hurting an NBA season that has so much potential.
This shows they are winning at home and competitive on the road, but have just had more road games. In other words, they are doing fine.

Early season predictions :oldlol:
Iguodala not on the team is hurting them more than most expected. His defense on the wings helps Curry and Thompson do their thing on offense, while also contributing some himself.
Another idiot on ISH, what's new SMH.

Come playoffs, none of the top seeded teams is gonna want to see the warriors in the first round. Barring injuries of course.
And obviously they could be doing better right now, but IMO, they aren't doing bad either. They way they play doesn't wont allow for a really good regular season record like some we're suggesting the start of the season. warriors got off to a pretty strong start last season, but fact was they were pulling wins in almost every close game. Luck played a lot of luck at times, bench play won quite a number of games as well. Those cards just aren't falling this time around. I still see them finishing along the lines of last season. A fifth or sixth seed...

Losing Iggy was huge. He is their glue guy. He does everything for them. They were a much better team coming out into the seaosn with him in the lineup. The team they have now is last years team minus Carl Landry and Jarret Jack. Thats a huge loss that Iggy made up for.

They're the Gol_en State Warriors for a reason. The last time they played any D was during the Carter administration. (http://www.basketball-reference.com/teams/GSW/1979.html)

As has already been pointed out, injuries have played a part in the "meh" start. I thought their bench (mostly Jack and Landry) was a huge part of their success last year and got noticeably weaker this year. Now, like someone else said, they're basically the exact same team without Jack and Landry on the bench. No Barnes (starting in Iggy's absence) and no Douglas (injured) means their bench is just flatout bad right now.

Let's just say they are not doing very good. Not at all. I mean so what if Iguodala is not there. Sure he helps, but the Warriors aren't very good if their other 5 guys can't weather the storm for the time being. Getting beat 21 to 4 off turnovers tonight.... good lord!
It really is pathetic. The whole ''they are built for the playoffs'' is an excuse. I mean this whole season has been filled with excuses after excuses. Teams like the Spurs never have an excuse. I won't be surprised if the Suns and Lakers jump the Warriors this year in the standings.

I think it's important to point out (because no one else has bothered to) that the Warriors are 8-2 this season with Iguodala and Curry in the line-up together.

The Warriors were looking good until Iggy got hurt.
think about it, they lost Jack and got Iggy and Iggy is hurt.
they are obvious not better without not having either one out there.

They'll be fine. They have a very good team.
Injuries to a starter can really hurt a team.
Look at Memphis without Gasol. Even the Clips look terrible without JJ Redick and he isn't an all-star like Iggy/Gasol.

8 home games to 14 road games doesn't help with the injuries considered either.
Looking at the Western teams ahead of the Warriors, only Denver with 8 to 13 and the Clippers with 10 to 12. Phoenix with 9 to 11 as well. Are the only three squads with more away games than home and none have a bigger gap than the Warriors.

I just dont get how a team that's beat Miami, the Clippers, the Blazers, and the Thunder this year can also lose to the Bobcats, Wizards, and Timberwolves at home. Most frustrating team in the NBA

When your team is 0-2 against the bobcats, you seriously have a problem with your team.

Either GSW or Pheonix is not making the playoffs.
Memphis since Gasol came back has been on an absolute tear and will definitely end up 6-8th seed.
