Police in Georgia are investigating a cruel prank at a Home Depot bathroom that resulted in a customer becoming glued to a toilet seat.

A female shopper using the restroom became fused to a toilet seat that had been covered in glue, police report.

A less cruel, but funny prank along similar lines would be to superglue toilets with lids shut. Then watch as people scramble to find somewhere to go to the bathroom. Or potentially better would be to superglue bathroom stall doors shut and watch people desperate enough crawl under the doors to use the toilets.

Illyanna De La Keur demands answers after being glued to toilet seat in Home Depot store

De La Keur has been left with such painful injuries she is unable to sit down.

"I'm a grown woman who can't even sit up," Ms De La Keur told wsbtv.

"I was stuck probably over an hour."

The embarrassed woman said she was still so sore, she was unable to leave her couch and wants answers as to how the incident happened and her subsequent rescue.

Video footage of Ms De La Keur shows her screaming in pain as emergency workers try to free her.

They eventually do so with the help of WD40, but not before she suffered serious injuries to the skin on the back of her legs.

"It wasn't funny," she said.

"Whoever did this it wasn't funny."

Home Depot told wsbtv that they had been in contact with Ms De La Keur and a third party was now handling the case.

I don't know how they managed to do this. Superglue hardens in seconds, they must've put it on the sit just a few seconds before she used it.

Super glue only dies in seconds when 2 materials are being bonded, It hardens in the absence of air, when just poured on a surface, it can stay in a liquid state for up to a few hours.

As mentioned previously I would never sit on a public toilet without a cover... also I thoroughly inspect the seat before even placing the cover down. Shit must've been a real emergency...

I've been doing toilet paper on the seat since I was like 8. In my own house too. Generally because I dislike the cold seats. I also do the little toilet paper on the toilet bowl so it doesn't splash my ass lmao.

I've only used the public restroom out of my 21 years of living twice. Once, in college where I just had to go but used toilet tissue on the toilet, and another at the mall I almost shit myself. Couldn't spend another second spending time on putting tissue on the bowl. It's a hit or miss but I guess females have to double the time sitting down on the toilet then males so they don't double check as much.
