After tonights game, it's pretty clear Miami or any team for that matter need a big man who can defensively cancel out Hibbert.
(Greg Oden?)

Greg Oden needs to be ready for that guy Hibbert

The biggest Issue is Hibbert playing like a Dominant force and that is not gonna change unless Oden gives Heat like 10-15 minutes a gm against Pacers enough to keep Hibbert from getting what he wants plus keeps Heat from Doubling down low and leaving shooters.

Why not bring him up? You can't dismiss him without seeing him get his chance to play.

Not many people thought Beasley should get minutes, yet look at the production he has given Miami... so let's wait and see on Oden.

Cause HE will be factor if the Heat are gonna beat Pacers this season.

This.. and why I said Oden if Healthy would be factor slowing Hibbert down.

 This is bad, Oden's knees can't even handle his own weight, now the entire Heat's team is on him?

Does anyone know Oden's current status? Is he still progressing? I know he had some knee swelling issues in the pre-season when he played.

People keep saying "A healthy Oden will be the deciding factor"

There is no such thing as a healthy Oden, like ever. What is he gonna do come play off time? He's gonna be that old "Help I've fallen and I can't get up" lady.

Always an encouraging sign for the deciding factor against a major rival.

Spo has insisted that they (a) have a specific plan for him based on strength & conditioning goals, (b) that he's ahead of schedule in terms of hitting intermediate goals, but (c) he hasn't yet finished the plan and gotten to where they want him to be physically and finally (d) they will not deviate from that plan.

Oden will have his moment of contribution before this season is all said and done. Riley didn't sign him for nothing.

Always an encouraging sign for the deciding factor against a major rival.I hope he never plays again. Not because he may help again Hibbert or anything, but because I don't want to witness another grotesque injury again and I'd like him to be able to walk past the age of 40.

looks good. I heard he could play if he had to but they're taking things slowly which is probably a good idea.

However I'm not sure he's ever going to be the answer for Miami when it comes to defending Hibbert (&West)
