Heat are -10 per 100 possessions with LeBron in the game, so it's not a stretch to say LeBron.

Outside of his above-average (notice i didn't say lockdown) defense, Thabo Sefolosha is definitely in the conversation. He'll get hot from 3 once in a while, and his defense will save us from a few points here and there, but he's nothing special aside from that.

no pun intended

I actually like him as a role player off the bench, but Alonzo Gee should not be starting in the NBA. The Cavs' situation at SF is reaching new depths for futility.

3.7 points and 2.7 rebounds per game on 43.7% shooting in 20 minutes a night.

He replaced Earl Clark as starter. Earl was putting up 5.6 points and 3 rebounds per upon being replaced.

I should note that Gee is an excellent defender, however. Still, he shouldn't be starting under any circumstances. The Cavs could really use a dead-eye, knockdown three-point shooter in that spot, too. They have spacing issues due to lack of shooters.

He's far from worst starter in the NBA. His defense is not just good for on-ball but off-ball too. There's a lot of stuff about his game that goes under the radar.

New York Knicks.

Ironically, they're murdering the Rose Less City.

Just his presence on the floor helps with spacing. Teams have to account for his shooting. No, he's not close to the worst.

Gee is far worse than Thabo at the 3 spot alone.

Absolutely not. He's a great defender and a solid 3 pt shooter (although his 3 pt% has dropped off this year).

I've always liked Sefolosha actually. I think you're selling him short by not calling him a lockdown defender. I've seen him lock guys down plenty of times (Kobe on multiple occasions, CP3, Parker, etc.)
