Yea....I really wish we had been able to do something at center, but it's just so hard. Thought going after Gortat would have been smart, but I guess we couldn't find a way.

Dal is fine at backup playing like 18 mpg. Anything more and he's just not capable.

I just hold out hope that Wright can really help...because if he can...we are going to be a really good regular season team.

Yea, I'm sure Wright will help a lot, but then again, this team really needs rebounding, and that has been one of Wright's weaknesses over the years. It's what got him in Carlisle's doghouse. I hope the fact that he gained 15 or so pounds during the offseason will help him stay on the glass better, and not get pushed around by bigger Cs.

Oh I know...I was talking about the last two Monta plays. They actually should have tried to go to him and force the off ball double so we get a great shot.

We didn't have to actually get him the ball, but at least run action for him to get the best shot possible.

That was my other point though. They could double off the ball because that sack of shit Dalembert was in there and Bogut didn't have to worry about him. And then Dalembert is actually hurting our defense often enough that it doesn't make sense to play him down the stretch...especially against a team like the Warriors.

Meh, honestly this game is at worst a good learning experience for the Mavs. They aren't a threat to make a playoff run so seeding doesn't really matter. This just gives Carlisle some ammo and knowledge to use in a 1st round series.

It's about the experience we can get for players that are going to be here in the future. Wright, Larkin, Calderon, Ellis...I think it will go a long way for making next year's team better if we get a playoff series out of this group.

Nobody thinks we can do anything this year...you are right about that, but I still think it's a positive to make it...especially when we are going to have to convince some players to come here this summer...even if they aren't big names.

And no, the Warriors are a lock to make the playoffs unless they get decimated by injuries.

Spurs, Portland, Clips, Thunder, Houston, Warriors...are all locks.

It's the last two seeds that are up for grabs...and honestly nothing would surprise me with the host of teams battling for them.
