I briefly had the chance of seeing Z-Bo at an afterhour spot here in LA last summer. Seemed like a cool dude, told him i was a big fan of his when he was leaving, and he said thank you. Another guy that was there that night...Will I Am or whatever, biggest douche celebrity I've ever encountered. Anyways, props to Z-Bo, nice gesture towards that kid and his family.

I'm very happy that he settled down in Memphis with a great group of teammates and is loved there.

I'm really happy to see that Z-Bo has turned a corner since he left Portland (or has matured at least enough to keep negativity out of the media). He always seemed like a nice dude to the city and to fans, he mainly just got in trouble for stupid decisions, such as staying out at strip clubs too late then being late to practice the next morning.
