What would you be willing to trade from your team to get Carmelo Anthony?
This is if the Knicks implode and look to trade Melo.

Melo would absolutely ruin okc and won't help them best the top two East teams, one of many reasons being his lack of rim finishing skills.
Melo and Westbrook wouldn't play well together. The beauty about Durant with Westbrook is Durants off ball skills and Westbrooks ability to attract attention. . Melo would mess that up and want the ball a lot.
I would take him if we did a complete roster overhaul I guess.
Pierce Johnson and Plumlee for Anthony and Shumpert

I would trade Wade for Melo in a heartbeat.
Melo can play nice off of LeBron from what I've seen in the Olympics. Wade can't so much unless its in the open court and he can get a open dunk. Melo could do that plus curl off screens, three point spacing. Damn, would be nice.

Wade is not worth Melo straight up. The heat would have to add chalmers or beasley
Can Blazers just be involved in a three-way trade where they fleece a 3rd team?

Wade is a better offer than anything else offered in this thread. Joel Anthony? Rashard Lewis? Paul Pierce + scrubs??? :facepalm
but yeah I'd have no problem throwing Beasley in there.

Beasley? No one wanted the guy at the start of the season, what makes you think anyone would want him now? :oldlol:

Being serious...
Deng, Gibson, then any two of: Charlotte's pick, Bulls' pick, rights to Mirotic.
Knicks would have to add in some salary to make it work.
And to be totally honest, as a fan only I'd be content with sending all 3 picks/rights to NYK, as opposed to just the two mentioned. But if I'm putting my "GM hat" on, then I'm only doing two.

That's the purpose of these threads. So people can post "darko milicic" or "2nd round pick" implying that melo sucks. Low level trolling

If he accepts being a 2nd option Rudy Gay and Jimmer

Agreed. I was just thinking of wade from the injury standpoint, but he can definitely sell tickets.
Wade + Beasley for Melo would make the Heat the champs for a decade straight.

OP is jealous his team doesn't actually want to win, so he bashes the Knicks non stop. Yes, Hawks are better. No, Hawks are not trying to win a title. Literally not trying. Making a tiny profit > trying to win a title. That's just fact. They'll put together a good team, then start jettisoning pieces that are expensive. Enjoy.

Even with the Cavs struggles at the 3, I would not want him at this point. He is the biggest "ME" player if there ever was one. Even with Chandler out, its ridiculous the Knicks have the record they do with the talent they have, in the east no less.
Nothing.

I'd give NYK Joel Anthony and James Jones for them to keep Melo.

That's nice. Have fun with whoever you draft next year and the four years they are there. Because the Cavs can be choosy. :facepalm

Melo will re-assess his game in the off-season, then decide he wants to win and join the Hawks at 4 years, 76 million.
He'll have a team of Horford, Millsap, Korver, Teague in the starting lineup. And on the bench Schroeder, Jenkins, Carroll, Antic, Ayon.
He'll also have Nogueira coming over and whoever the Hawks draft with the Nets pick.

I would not trade anyone for Melo. Robert Sacre is a better fit than Melo. I'm keeping Sacre.
