Feels pretty good. I don't usually talk about myself on here, but I'm pretty proud. Yeah, it's stupid to brag about, I'd be the first one to tell someone else that, but it's a personal goal that I've achieved and I felt like sharing. Any hates/negs for making such a stupid post are completely justified and welcome.

Thanks. I know you were thinking of going to do something similar but decided against it, for understandable reasons. What did you end up doing instead?

I don't know how you can sleep at night knowing that every dollar they give you is for the destruction of the quality of life for future generations.
Just kidding tho, congrats. That is a pretty awesome landmark to hit.

Congrats on the accomplishment, I'm sure you deserve it
It's just funny you of all people, the guy whose negative, belittling reputation and consistent degradation of posters preceding him makes a thread so positive props can be thrown his way.
I'm genuine in my congratulations because I wish for all to prosper but it's pretty comical that you want people's electronic daps when your whole spiel since I've posted here has been to talk down to others. Now you want us to jerk you off and get us to ask you how you arrived at this point in your career, get you to tell us details to pump up your ego. Ironic

I'm aware. I've already covered this in OP.

It's pretty extreme to say my "whole spiel" here has been to be a douchebag, but again, this is exactly the kind of reaction I expected in this thread and TBH it's completely understandable.

Perhaps a little extreme, sure. Proof is in the pudding though multiple times over how you've treated people. I just thought it an observation worth bringing up in the actual thread. It's really good that you are self-aware. I didn't say you were a douchebag, just really harsh but it's all good.
A douchebag can be all kinds of things. If I were to construct a Frankenstein Monster of ultimate ISH douchebag you would only be a small part. Shit, I feel like I've been deserving of at least a finger or ear maybe at times
Again, I'm glad your hard work has paid off and I hope you manage your money well and have peace of mind and love of heart.

congrats to you...
my father just recently hit big on Gulf Oil drilling investment and is now starting to cross over from being "well-off" to flat out "rich"...I'm pretty excited about it, feels like he won the lottery or something
as far as investing goes, you just can't ever go wrong with oil it seems...so many self made millionaires owe everything they have to oil

I have uncles who are millionaires because of real estate and I'll be one too in a couple of years. Here is the dumbed down version of what they do.
1) Buy land for $80k to $120k with your own personal money
2) Build a multi-family home (usually triplex with a loan from a private bank) for $300k
3) Re-finance for $500k to $600k ($100k to $200k in immediate profit)
4) Two of the tenants will pay the mortgage while the third one is going to be passive income which is usually $1,500 a month
Then once your really used to this you move on to 10 family homes.

You sacrificed having a life because whatever down time you had was spent here being a prick. You didnt get laid much while you broke this number so I expect to see you in the male sex toy thread. You probably didnt eat very good. Not implying you ate mega stuffed oreos daily. But some good food? Was rare in your system. So yeah hip hop hooray you whored yourself to breaking 100K and feel accomplished. Now what? Impress us this time next year with a thread where you enjoyed life.

Yeah cause Net Worth =/ Yearly income. Anyway congrads I'm sure it took a lot of hard work and overtime. A year 1/2 back I had many outofstate employment options but I chose to live with family and finish school. Considering how many others I know who owe student loans working overtime isn't a bad option.

I do have a degree, but it was not required for this job. My stepdad works for this outfit as well, in a different capacity, and I got on with them about 3.5 years ago. First I worked in their welding shop, then the warehouse, then the field, which is where the money is at. The job I am in right now just about anyone could walk off the street and be hired. Obviously 100k your first year is unrealistic, but if you have a good head on your shoulders and keep your mouth shut and work hard, you advance fairly quickly in pay grade and responsibility.

Oh true, I'm 23 turning 24 in a month. And yeah Toronto expense are pretty high but I spend my money wisely... I was working in Florida for the past few months with my company paying my expenses so I saved all my salary money and was just using the uplift they gave me.
