for me, whiskey is proof of some higher being. be it a few drams with a nice steak or an evening out with the guys, whisky is always my drink of choice. i'm partial to single malt scotches. some of my favorites include....

I drink Johnny Walker black because good single Malts are too expensive, and black label is really nice anyway. Tried downgrading to Red once and that shit was rank.

I had some jim beam the other weekend and it wasn't that good.

I didn't really like the taste for some reason.

I mainly drink brandy, vodka, gin, rum, or tequila.

I suggest you try Wigle. It is made here in Pittsburgh and they have a ton of good stuff.

Normally I'll go with a rye or some scotch. Just tried Templeton Rye and loved it.

i like macallan but for the price of macallan 18, i've found i can get 2-3 whiskys I like even better. glennlivet 21 is my choice in that price range

for me, there's not much more relaxing after a long day's work than a glass of scotch and a good cigar

Yea, Red Label is a mixer, disgusting straight. I got a bottle of Gold Label for Christmas a year ago, only had about half the bottle in 12 months though.

johnnie black is the best for it's price. great taste and smooth. the difference between that and red is huge, red is a shite.

try johnnie double black if you can find it

been drinking chivas regal 18+ gold and it's good, a bit too smooth though but it's far nicer than the normal chivas. Glenfiddich is pretty nice too.

Usually I drink canadian club as it's cheaper and still has a nice taste straight.

I don't find the basic jim beam\johnnie walker too tasty unless mixed with something else, I like to mix with dry ginger ale or soda water if I have one of those bottles.

it's nice but it's a little too smooth, I like some after taste but the flavour fades right away, still good though.

Possibly the worst tasting drink I have ever had is Canadian Club. Calling it whiskey is more than an insult.
