For some reason, the Bobcats have always given the Lakers problems. Now that they have some legit pieces outside of just misfits no one else wanted, it's going to be pretty tough to get a win.

This is a game where Kobe should look to score more and will hopefully gain the confidence with that necessary to balance out both playmaking and scoring if the rest of the team brings it too.

I'm trying to think of some positive things that could come out of Pau's poor play this season.

1) Teams won't offer him anything above the MLE which would be a steal for the Lakers to resign him in the offseason
2) Mike D'Antoni gets fired for Phil Jackson
3) Pau wants to remain a Laker so he's secretly plummeting his value
4) Jordan Hill gets more minutes
5) Even with his poor play, Pau's still better than 90% of the other Centers in this league

Nope. All 4 of his turnovers were Kobe's own fault. Ill-advised passes. Fancy passes, predicting where guys would be before they even get there. He can play the point in spurts effectively, but he's too predictable as a 30 minute a game point guard.

And Kobe said he used to watch Magic. Maybe he only remembered the flashy plays. Then again Magic was a high turnover prone point guard as well. Bad habits are hard to shake.
