It blows my mind people wanna put Lebron with MJ.. hes barely with Dirk right now..

Even though 06 really hurts Dirk , his championship run in 2011 and countless 50+ win seasons have him in legend status. He literally carried his team , with many MIRACULOUS moments in that playoff run.

Lebrons 2 rings (with super stacked teams) are equal to Dirk's 1 ring as the alpha dog.

However, if Lebron wins this year, his 3 rings (though asterisked ** with super star stacked team) still put him over Dirk.

Lebron has alot riding for him this year , legacy -wise.

LeBron has the opposite issue that Kobe has. Every falls over themselves to give Kobe more credit than he deserves. Everybody is desperate to give LeBron as little credit as possible. They only give him the minimum. There's a certain level they HAVE to give, but they hold back every little inch that they can.

Lebron is fighting for the one spot of this century. At best Dirk is fighting for the fourth spot. If Wade was healthy it would be the fifth spot. Lebron scores better than Dirk and he doesn't really go hard at scoring. What else could be asked of him?

How good is Lebron? The only real question is could Lebron do everything that Dirk does as good as he does. He definitely shoots better from the field, he usually outscores him, he could rebound like him... The only real arguments that Dirk has on Lebron are free throw shooting and 3 point shooting to a much lesser degree. The other 20 plus categories are very decisively Lebron.
