Even though Kobe was not efficient tonight, 8 points, 28% shooting, 6 assists, 5 turnovers, 3 rebounds, he was dominant doe.

On the other hand, Lebron was efficient with his 30 points, 76% shooting, 9 assists, 9 rebounds, but he was no dominant.

Kobe > Lebron

PSHHHH. Kobe was just taking a break today man. He knew he could put up 40 if he wanted to, but decided to just relax and let his teammates share the bulk of the scoring load. That's where the turnovers and assists come from.

For real, why should Kobe give a shtt in a pre season game? Real season starts the next game.

LeBron actually was dominant tonight finally. Which is also why this is only his 2nd 30-5-5 game this season. Came out agressive, props to him.

Kobe played like straight up garbage tonight.

Bron stans trying to over dramatized the "efficient/dominate" thing, when in essence LeBron HASN'T dominated anything this season other than fg%....Tonight, he actually did both which this season has been few and far in between.

LeBron been playing against garbage teams most of the season, and has had close games against those teams aswell as lose games inwhich he's merely coasting just taking minimal amount of shots to keep his fg% up...Besides tonight, give me a LeBron game this season in which you watched it and said to yourself "LeBron is straight up dominating these guys", you can't...(please don't bring up that game vs shitty ass Magic)

Durant on the other hand has had about 7 30-5-5 type games including a 30-10-10-4-4 dominant triple double game that hasn't been seen since prime Jordan. He's also played in the stronger conference while also leading his team to a better record. Not even "neck to neck".

Lebron fans are always emboldened by "unfair/one sided" situations.

Why they don't focus their energy on the Pacers is very telling of their p*ssy ways.

They love to be arrogant and confident about the stuff that is not threatening.

Which is why they are likely to shut up about the Lakers and Kobe next year.

32 minutes is too much.
First his achilles was injured.
Now his ankle hurts.
Next will be something else.

I guess the Lakers don't believe in allowing Kobe to ease his way back, playing 15 mpg for a month, 20 mpg for the next month, 28 mpg for the next month, then up to 38 mpg for the next month.
Or maybe Kobe is too stubborn not to let that happen.

he can play 32 minutes a night and find his way back into rhythm. anybody that's played ball for a long time and suddenly been forced to stop knows how hard it is to come back after not playing full speed for a long time. he'll be fine.

You're asking what his stats are after 4 games after not touching a basketball for several months while he recovers from surgery, sitting out all of training camp and the first 20 games of the season so you can prove what idiotic point?

Hawkfan you mentioned his ankle was sore.. Dr Klapper *sp a Orthopedic surgeon who is a regular on ESPN radio said it's normal for the ankle to become sore.. as the Achilles tendon stretches out scar tissue in the ankle has to tear to allow full mobility, secondly the ankle is moving through a wider range of motion than it has in months... this is a normal part of the recovery process and the only thing that aids in this aspect of his recovery is actually playing on the legs

Actually, I wasn't asking for a rule change just for Kobe bashing threads. I realize that the admins aren't gonna ban actual trolls (that goes for trolls against any fanbase, not just Kobe or Lakers). So instead of complaining about banning someone, why not just have that option so it's the users choice? Peeps can have their fun with threads like this, those who don't want to see it don't even have to see the headlines. It's a win for everyone.

Personally, I'd love to just be able to have actual legitimate threads of discussion on my topics list instead of letting good threads falter to the second page for threads with one line or that involve title and simply ":lol " with five other similar threads. There ARE good posters and good discussion here. You're not even on my ignore list and I have no real beef with you nor have I ever clowned Lebron. It's simply a civil suggestion for both sides.

No. The Magic are worse right now (in record and conference).

The future? Debatable. We'll see what happens in the next few years. But what we know is, that the Lakers will likely swipe any good player the Magic get (Shaq, Ariza, D.Howard) via trade or free agency.
