This is a NBA forum and my thread is about NBA Finals stats. And it gets deleted twice.

Uh how? I'm posting facts. I posted that thread because I looked up the largest drop-off in the Finals and I wanted to post that finding. It's not my opinion, it's a stat.

And the fact that he has posted some variation of this thread numerous times in the past.

Kobe 25.1 ppg on 40 FG% in the NBA Finals
Lebron 23.4 ppg on 44 FG% in the NBA Finals. Lebron still has plenty of chances to play in the NBA Finals while it looks like Kobe and his team won't make it into the NBA playoffs.

LBj also averaged more rebounds, assists, and blocks than Kobe.

What does this have to do with Kobe?

I considered deleting it myself but didnt. Im positive ive seen you make nearly the exact same topic before. Perhaps twice. No reason but to hate on Wilt and start arguments about it. If I go to an NFL forum to make a bunch of Jim brown hating topics id expect someone to stop me and have me go elsewhere. Especially if I passed the point of being a normal fan with an opinion and just make multiple topics to hate for no reason but starting a fight.

I wonder that aswell.... It sure was an objective, non-agenda driven, non-trolling super original thread....

Dont be sad, you can still bump one of my 3 year old threads.... admin wont delete it either... its fun!

:oldlol:

Come on man, anyone that's been around for awhile knows you and jlauber/lazeruss have a thing. Never mind that you've made basically the exact same thread in the past, and it's pretty obvious what you're doing. You wanna hide behind the bullshit story of posting facts and that's it, fine, but don't expect posters who've been regulars here for a few years not to see through it.

Lebron's first finals appearance really hurts his overall stats. Sometimes I wish the Pistons would have beaten them in the Conference Finals. They were totally out matched by a superior Spurs team in the Finals.

No, its not more impressive to lose earlier in the playoffs....

Make sense to me. Just like Hakeem Olajuwon and his team being eliminated 7x in the first round of the playoffs. Jlauber used that as one of his arguments in the chamberlain vs. Hakeem Thread.

:oldlol: Kobe has played the #1 rated defense 4 times (01 sixers, 02 nets, 08 celtics, 09 magic), and 2 other top 5 defenses (04 pistons which is arguably the GOAT defense, and the 10 celtics), the only team that wasn't a top 5 defense was the 00 pacers where he had his worst series but he was 21 years old and injured his ankle the second game in the series (played 9 min in gm 2 which bring down his series stats). Now tell me what defensive teams Lebron faced other than the 07 spurs? 11 mavs he averaged 17.8 ppg being outscored by 2 teammates and a bench player. 12 thunder were not a great defense - ranked 11th, and the 13 spurs were ranked 3rd but we all know that they left Lebron open all day long on the perimeter and he was awful, his series stats look okay, but if you watched the series you would know he did some serious statpadding when the game was pretty much either won or lost.

Who cares?? At the end of the day Lebron has the same numbers of Finals MVP as Kobe depsite being 6 1/2 years younger than Bean.

Once Lebron wins his 3rd Finals MVP. Please stop putting him in the same sentence as borderline top 9-10 player of all time Kobe Bryant.

The 2012 Thunder would beat the 2010 and even the 2009 Lakers. They were destroying the competitions in the west before they beaten by a superior Heat team in the Finals.

Shaq was the number 1 option of that team. Even 1991-1993 Pippen had a superior Finals statsline than Kirby in the 2000-2002 NBA Finals.

They did swept Gasol, Kobe, and Odom in the 2012 NBA Playoffs. if you look at the lakers oppositions in the 2009 and 2010 western conference playoffs. The Thunder beat much better team going into the Finals.

I can see where your coming from, but the Lakers were a hell of a lot better in the title runs than 2012, mainly Pau Gasol.

And lol at Odom

Whole playoffs in 01 and 02 Kobe averaged only 1.0 and 1.9 less ppg than Shaq, while leading team in assists.

No player has faced better defenses in the NBA Finals than Kobe.

In 7 Finals he faced
4 #1 DRTG rated defenses
6 top 5 DRTG rated defenses

Kobes 01 playoff stats are similar to Lebrons in 2013.
