Obviously this is more geared towards fans who never got to see their temas win a championship.

I wouldn't care if the Raptors or the entire NBA was contracted. Give me the money.

Megamillions. I can't turn down that money. Then I'd become a Pacer or Miami fan.

500 mil is it? Buy a majority stake in your favorite team and kill two birds with one stone.

Yeah if you choose $500 million for yourself over 12 millionaires you don't know winning a prize in a sporting event... It's time to reevaluate your fandom

If you told me $10k and the Knicks win the title coming back THIS year, i don't know i do it. Much less give up $500M

id take the money even if it means destroying the nba, id still have basketball :lol

It's A VC3!!!

99.9% of the players in the league prefer money over winning so why would a fan not do the same? The Nets can be contracted for $600MM. Just give me my money and I'll immediately begin touring private islands and hard-to-pronounce Caribbean resorts.

Obviously a Knicks fan is going to take the money. The Knicks aren't going to win a championship regardless of whatever else happens.

Show me the money! If you can't win after having two of the all-time greats fall in your lap in consecutive drafts you probably aren't ever going to win it all anyway.

I would be willing to give up sports for the rest of my life for the millions. A more interesting question would be:

If you KNEW 100% that your team would NEVER win a championship, would you switch teams?

Lebron can win the next 10 championships for all I care, give me the money
This sums up what most feel on the subject. The sheer gravity of this statement and who is saying it is underrated. For instance, rip would sacrifice his newborn to an imaginary attic spirit on the off chance LeBron bricks a shot in the first quarter of the first round.

oh the horror

The entire NBA could cease to exist for all I'd care. I'd be staggeringly rich!
